any good scan tool which can pull deeper data instead of just error codes. Any proper workshop worth their money will have such tool.
you need to see a 1g/lit/sec inflow of air.
meaning at idle you should be seeing about 1.8gm/sec of air being pulled. Also check the air temperature sensor reading. A really whacked out temp reading will cause real bad shifting.
sudden abrupt throttle opening should immediately register a change - but if your scan tool has a poor transfer rate, it will be useless. I usually use an oscilloscope for such tests, but your average shop in Pk wont even know what an oscope it.
