As a proud owner of a 10th generation Honda Civic since 2018, I've gathered some valuable insights based on my extensive experience with the vehicle. One of the observations I've made is that the odometer readings can sometimes be inaccurate. For instance, after filling up 50 liters of fuel in Okara, I managed to travel 700 kilometers, with the range still showing 10 kilometers remaining, plus 50 kilometers in reserve. Typically, I achieve a fuel efficiency of 12-13 km/l on the motorway when driving at 110-120 km/h. However, if I maintain a speed below 100 km/h, the efficiency can increase to 15-17 km/l. There are certainly some strategies to maximize fuel efficiency.
Given that I frequently travel from Okara to Abbottabad due to my second home there, my estimates are quite reliable.
In terms of maintenance, I consistently use Liqui Moly products, which I believe are superior after years of use. These include:
Liqui Moly Synthoil High Tech 5W-40 (4 Liters)
Liqui Moly Fuel System Treatment (300 ml) - I use this regularly, about 1-2 times every 3-4 months.
Liqui Moly Radiator Cleaner (300 ml)
Honda Original Air and Fuel Filters
Tires: Michelin Primacy 4+ 225/55 R16 - I maintain a tire pressure of 30 PSI, checking frequently during long travels and on a weekly basis.
While there may be many other factors affecting performance, these practices are based on my personal experience.
