there is minor rattling in the passenger seat that i can feel and once i am driving its perfectly smooth.

Believe me this vibration problem is so difficult to trace....it generates from somewhere else and feels somewhere else....first check out the all the mountings...may be you need to replace all engine and transmission mountings....

currently i am using 215/60/16 Yokohama blue earth ... Good and comfortable drive ...

You forgot to mention. This vibration comes with and without Auto Brake Hold and stopping on a signal with AC off and lights off D mode condition which is inherent in civics especially in Turbos all of them. I like you start feeling it after firmare upgrade made my car checked at 3S.

After a lot of research diagnosed it to be inherent as in this particular condition rpm drops to 600/650

Nothing to worry about all normal.

Try switching ON the parking lights or AC / Climate control ON and the rpms will be raised back immediately and that minor vibration will be gone.

That is exactly my experience as well. I just turn the fan on.

This happens sometimes when rpms drop... with that comes passenger seat rattling with centre console... I wouldn't worry too much about it coz it ain't old carburetor where you would adjust rpms. Either do a reflash or get throttle body cleaned.. also check air filter.
Sab sey sasta jugar is to add some cushioning between passenger seat and console, that way you won't hear those annoying rattling sound.

for that vibration i didnt feel it after that day. now it doesnt vibrate on D mode, stop at signal and AC OFF. it was there 2 days ago and in the morning time only. in afternoon and night time i didnt felt that rattling vibration. still cannot figureout the reason.

on that day RPM was fully stable no vibration in RPM.

2018 civic 50k odo. When I drive with light foot a “kharrr kharrr sound comes from the car. Does anyone know what it might be? Noise is not too loud and only comes on light foot.

Cant give an idea.... only possibility is shield touching the tyre.
On 3S lift it can be checked by starting and putting in Drive with free wheels.

Coz in the night time lights are ON which keeps rpms high enough at actual despite AC Off.
R u asking about Oriel or Turbo?

with these calculations..the additional accessories of oriel are of around 100k whereas the price of oriel is 230k more than hard top so oriel is no more a wise purchase now for anyone?

Its not that Oriel isn’t a wise purchase. Its just that now Hardtop is also a slightly wiser purchase compared to what it was earlier

that sound might be of tensioner pulley. get it check from 3S and try to get it replaced under warranty

If you plan to keep for more than 5 years get hardtop. If a shorter span get Oriel

Resale of hardtop will always be an issue. People prefer to get fully loaded while buying second hand car.

You won’t be able to sell it. Just get an Oriel for peace of mind. How many hard tops do you see every day? I don’t remember the last time I saw a hard top 10th gen Civic.

Get oriel.
Its a better buy. The extra goodies you get are worth it.
Plus reselling won’t be an issue later on. Even if you beat up the car it will sell good.

I had a 9th gen hardtop prosmatec and it was so hard getting a good offer for it. Sold it dirt cheap cuz needed money. Everyone would say "sunroof wali chahiye" halanke kabhi use nai hoti. This is the Pakistani mentality. Better to go with the flow
