Being in touch with community, or having two cars is nothing to what I have had done from all 3 manufacturers in Pakistan,
The mode is universal, its called communication in clear legible 6th grade language, offloading responsibility to them and then apply due pressure (which was in form of bank and insurance as mentioned above)
The person whom I helped for his civic was an old customer of mine from Pakistan, according to him when he got his insurance and bank involved that the car is dangerous to drive and will crash. They also got on the case as they didnt want to insure and finance a car that is at high risk of losing steer control (loss of assist)
The repair was done at Honda drive-in.
So yes, your writing is hollow, because you are presenting Pakistani tabloid style empty journalism involving surface level pokes with no rooted source, e.g. words like delay tactics, run around etc etc.
Some people say that I had some upper hand at these dealers as I was the one they called for complex drivability diagnosis. While infact I had no strongarm, just exercised the already given rights.
I helped a customer with an e120 corolla whose optitron gauge cluster would momentarily shut down while driving, I knew the fault, but guided and helped her how to get it replaced, it was replaced and the odometer rewritten on the new one to match the current read. (This car was about 6000 kms driven only).
So either the customers here were trying to get a moron SA to warranty the claim (they wont as it doesnt make them commission), or talking to the guard outside, I OTOH approach the brand principal and lodge my complaint there, it trickles down like acid.
