I think the conversation is going in wrong direction.. not only the turbo but all varients of civic suffer from quality issues.
Now hardcore honda fab boys will be pissed after listening to this.. hold your horses
Apparently if your car one out of thousands did not develop an issue it wouldnât be that you denounce anyone who says some issue exist.
I donât know how you think or your brain works but the way i think is if i buy a brand new car it shouldnât take me to dealership every few weeks(yes your one of thousands civic didnât do that good for you)
I have seen people whos ac evaporator failed in summer and replacement part was offered after a month, same is the story with steering rack.
Some people have developed issue in discs and they were also replaced by honda under warranty.
No company out there changes anything in warranty until or unless they know that the claim is genuine and issue is reoccurring.
Steering, ac, brake discs are some problems which one face in used cars not brand new cars
Secondly everyone knows the most sold civic is the top of the line variant, every honda buyer wants that.. now that turbo is not in market since 2 some years everyone is looking forward to it and hence the rumours every month..
