Salamz Pakwheels brothers,
After a long absence,found a gap to come online and visit my beloved pakwheels.there is a reason Coming in this dead thread.as you know about this triumph herald body with me for years.due to shortage of time/place and energy I am not able to restore this car.some body parts are under roof and some are in open,deteriorating.
I think that there is no point in keeping this body any more.So if any brother has a triumph herald and wants to restore it,I can "GIFT" body panels in very good condition....
Dont want to throw it or sell it to Kabaria because I find it out of ethics being a classic car buff myself.
So please respond otherwise i will have no choice to get rid of it..

sir, try and hang onto it as long as you can, i know there must be a someone out there who'd take it off you as these cars have alot of history and are worth restoring. I urge you to hang on as long as you can.

Dont let the kabarias smash it into metal sheets, this beauty is worth restoring, just wait for some more time, or if not ask someone to keep it, till anyone comes and takes it for restoration.

Sameer bhai,we own this car for last 40+ years imported by my father from uk.so we are first owner.driven it a lot almost life time relationship with this metal.I rebuilt its engine by my own hands and all alone 15 years back but unfortunately had an accident and injured my back so could not use this car more than a few hundreds miles.running not complete even.
went to England for my back treatment and bought kit to make it convertibale including original brand new header rail,clips and other things.but on my return managed to buy spitfire I was after for 3/4 years .so all the attention was diverted and this car was parked in my front lawn open.....
2/3 years it stayed there and then I decided to dismantle and store it for some restoration but could not find time for this project....
chassis was placed on the roof covered under plastic but rusted badly and useless...
body tub,doors,boot,roof,etc are there....
It can be a good donor car if some one wants to restore a triumph herald and already have one.
I missed a convertible herald sold by Imad in Karachi...tried to track that car but no success...this could be used to restore that convertible to its former glory.
now I have my hands full of cars and have no space to park any other vehicle..so further restoration projects not possible yet.body of this car is occupying two rooms upstairs so want to empty those rooms but at the same time cant give this car to Kabarias...

I want to explain again that this car body can be used as a donor car..like some incomplete or abused/rusted herald can be converted into a nice classic using this donor car...This car was on my fathers name and documents are hard to find if not impossible..So best use of this car body will be as a donor car..

Thanks for correcting me Mr.Spitfire about the wheelbase, But i told about this thread to a uncle of mine who lives in karachi he is very fanatic man and a collector of cars nowadays me, my elder brother, uncle and his son are swapping petrol engine in my charade as it was diesel before at my home

When i told him about your herald he was quite happy to hear and was saying that if you are still interested in giving it away he will be honoured to restore it.

Kept it for years in a store upstairs...
The purpose was to restore it myself afterward,But due to shortage of time and energy,could not attempt.It was lying there for no reasons...
even this thread is quite old...
during this time,chassis was rusted beyond repair(being in open) and some parts were used for spitfires...but the main body was there in quite good condition without engine,gear and drive train etc...
I never wanted to sell this body (there was nothing to sell) but to gift it to some one who already owns a triumph herald in running but poor condition...
@veitnam called me twice and said that he is interested in this body...The brother is from Abbotabad and wanted to take it there but he wanted papers of this car too...which I could not give because it was in my father's name and he is no more now...
Becaause my house is under restoration too these days so I was desperate to clear the stores as well...
My mechanic "Raees" found a guy who was also a mechanic and had a herald too in running condition but with bad and altered body...
So I gave the body to that guy with a heavy heart.... who is restoring his triumph herals using the original body parts given by me....
Being a classic car buff....selling a classic car or even body is not in my books...I am happy that the remains of my herald were not handed over to Some Kabaria and its still on the road in some form...
I thank you all brothers who took interest in this thread and replied and appologize from those who think that I have done something wrong in this respect.
