Why ik20 over ik16 in 2nzfe? I have 2017 GLI n its almost 17000km driven, the thing is car is not giving good average n when i pump the gas car light se Knocking kerti hai like chhhhrrrr,on last oil change i clean the plug n throttle properly n car gives good average n knocking bhi nahe ki lakin sirf 150km 200km tak us k bad phir se average kum kerdia hai chrrrrr knocking bhi , reason n solution plz

Throttle cleaning at 17k km ? The issues you mentioned point out towards bad fuel quality i reckon. What average are you getting and is it a manual is an automatic GLI ?

Throttle cleaning means just spray nasa in it n if the bad fuel is a culprit it happen only ones bad average to almost 1st day se hai n chhhrrrr knocking bhi 1000km se ker rahe hai car manual hai n average around 9km to 10km day rahe hai mairi 2012 GLI in city aram se 12.5km ka average daity thi n us main plugs sk20r11 lagay way aai thay i m the second owner of that car

Might I suggest a small ultrasonic cleaner?

Yes, I have been looking for one actually but is it safe for the internal workings of the plug? or I just dip the tip in it? :-# and here is one I was looking at on a Pakistani shop. Would it be okay? I also need to clean my fuel injectors with this if I end up getting it:

CT-400 Ultrasonic Cleaner.

I have not yet looked for it in the local market. I suppose it would be available somewhere.

Please look at the following photos of the old plugs that I removed from car. Are they fouled or there is another term for whatever gunk that is? If it means that the tips would be not fouled, then they don't seem to be but they were in a state like smashed up head of a nail, shattered.

I will share my plug pics in coming days, God willing. lets see what is in place

Sir, i don't think there's anything wring with your car. 2NZ FE is quite prone to engine knocking. I have kept three generations of this car with the same engine and all of them used to knock with bad fuel. I used to mix normal fuel with hi octane at times which temporarily used to fix my problem. If you drive in congested areas with stop and go traffic then i am afraid you won't get any better average then the one you are currently getting.
