A.O.A to all the respected members of club 4X4 Engaged?. It is very encouraging to know that such enthusiasts for off road exist in Lahore. I myself have been a fan of 4X4 vehicles since many ages though i still play with cars :P. Currently i own a 90 series Prado 2002 with 1KD D4D engine which i normally use for work and family outings and cherish that vehicle a lot. I want to become a member of this club so that i can learn from you guys.Iam looking for a rig to restore and i seek advice from the experts as to which one should i go for an lc70 or an lc40? which i can use for both off and onroad activities.

about membership JANJ will guide you better.
I am No expert but all depends on your budget. If you want to go for lc 40 then have a look at forsale section there are many nicely done fj40's for sale and save your self from all the trouble,(price range is from 4.5 lacks to 10 lacks)

and i think 70 series can be kind of an all rounder army auction RKR can be found till 5.5 lacks and restored or already restored one are there too around 10 to 15 lacks.

@qwertypoiu my budjet is between the range you have mentioned till 8-9 lacks. I personally prefer the 70 series RKR as i have travelled many miles in it years back and i intent to restore one of them from scratch as that is the benefit of such cars. Don't know about decent jeep mechanics who know the in an out of jeeps any sort Prado, LC70, LC40, Pajero etc in Lahore.
P.S Read your posts on threads you seem to be a big fan of the monster a.k.a the 80 series. Great choice, my uncle owns one 1997 shape the same as your avatar and boi it is a gem.
