Clutch is hard. Suzuki 3S quoted 20,000. Legit?

I have a Cultus VXRi EFI engine. Last time I get it serviced from Suzuki service center, they gave me remarks about clutch is hard and now it is really hard. I plan to go for it but would like to know if the quoted price is legit?

Suzuki 3S prices are way too much.
Better solution is to buy the required parts from market and ask them to replace.
Cost will be less than half as compared to 3S.

NOT A ROCKET SCIENCE! get the clutch cable etc replaced by any good mechanic and you're good to go

suzuki 3s stuff are mad the quote me 150k for a job that was done in 800 rs from a local mechanic :mad:

let me clarify things a bit, the cost that is quoted by 3s is usually the maximum cost. They quote you high because once the car is opened up, only then they can confirm what needs changing. Secondly they only go for replacing the part not repairing it plus the parts sold by 3s are somewhat higher in price. So basically they are not ripping you, its how it works. Honda 3s quoted me 80k for suspension work, yes its high but he said that this is the max cost, otherwise once they open up the suspension only required parts will be changed so actual cost can get lower.

Honda 3s replaced me a power window switches unit for free (worth 12k) hows that?

dont go for clutch or pressure plates, just lubricate the clutch cable else u need a clutch bearing.

Plates etc has nothing to do with hardness of clutch

hard clutch means bad cable.. change clutch cable.. buy cable from reliable source

so you means the decision of 3s guy was right when is said he will replace ecu,all injectors,ff cng,ff cng injector,coil when just one injector was blocked with dirt without even checking the fault and was just seeing that the car was missing a lil on cold start

I never said 3s is always right, in this case owners needs to have some knowledge as well. If he doesn't, one can always get second opinion.... Lastly, road side mechanics are no different than those working in 3s, they rip customers the same way. Local mechanics aren't phd either nor they are honest. You have to be aware yourself, whether its 3s or local 90% are rip-off. Only difference is that 3s does the work professionally
