yesterday i went to islamabad through motorway my car did 145kms with ac with a 55kg cylinder is it a good average?Where as on petrol car did 16.3 km per liter at 110km/h what i think 16.3 is awesome average with 5 people a cng cylinder and ac
what is your car's make, model???
sorry for not mentioningXli 2010
My alto does 165km in full cylinder and ac on.On petrol at constant speed of 110km/h it gives 14-16km/l with ac.
it means my car average is good
bro my exi 2006 does 175 km on moterrway with a/c..........with 60 kg cylinder
Corrola LX limited auto - 190-195 per cylinder-60kg. ac on but on Eco.
Petrol 14-16, depending on speed
Guys yesterday i was coming from peshawer to faisalabad. The mileage given by my Suzuki Alto was great. I got my CNG Cylinder completely fulled at Nowshera. From there i followed GT Road, and then lately motorway at Burhan. The CNG was finished at Bhera. The total mileage it gave was 250 kms. The weather was not too hot so i didnt switched on the AC, but at few instants i have to switch it ON to avoid suffocation. The two most important tips i followed throughout, 1. All windows of my car were closed, to avoid drag created by wind. This effects the fuel economy. The best substitute is to Switch on the fan. And 2. Drive at optimum speed of 90 km/hr. Just maintain this speed throughout. Whenever u saw any slopy road, lift ur feet slightly and never push the accelerator hard when climbing the slope. Let the speed decrease. I want that Alto drivers should try this and second my statement.
Haider how much your xli is driven on CNG yet? any head/valve issue?
My Corolla 86 with 12 valve engine does this average in city.
@hiader5 , not good average on cng A/C doesn't effect on newer corollas consumption it should give around 180-195 whether A/C on or off , on petrol its fine
my civic vti gives 180 on motorway with A/C on 6 person on board 55kg cng cylinder and some luggage . ALHAMDULILLAH
my car is 28000kms driven on cng so far no head and valve issue let c what will happen in future
today i am back home through motoway today car did 160kms at 120km/h might be its the quality of cng that effects the fuel economy
Dear my GLI 2012 do 14-15km/ltr (AC & Highway)200+ km per 60ltr Cylnder, so far 20-22km/kg (AC & Highway)
i have honda city 2007 , with 55kg cylander , but my cng average is only 80km 0r 90km , i can do evry thing ,change the plugs , clean the cng cylandar , tuning the cylander but problem is same what can i do 03235313970
My 06 XLI covers Approx 200 KMs/Cylinder in city without AC, and on motorway at speed of 90 KM/H 240+. Tyres are 195-65-15.I think this the best average from all of you.
Fuel eco depends on driving habits and cruising speed as well.
I drive @ 120-130km/h and with A/C, I manage 160-180kms from a 1.5L engine with 55kg cylinder. If driven @ 100-110km/h add another 20kms.
