LPG rates fluctuate based on supply demand. Now if massive conversion of CNG to LPG is done, LPG rates may shoot up to Rs. 200!!!

But if the govt is interested in providing imported LNG directly to pumps rather than pumping it into the gas pipeline at Port Qasim, then expect the LNG/LPG rates to be stable around Rs. 100 mark, and CNG to vanish by the end of this year.

no one is converting to lpg in islamabad, n these shops arent even filling in cars n still rate keeps fluctuating, i wonder where rate would go once they do start filling
but pre filled cylinder price was fixed at 1600rs for 15kg

In Lahore, I got 15 Kg LPG filled at 100 Rs per KG (Punjab Gas near Yateem khana chowk Lahore) and i am getting 24km+ per Kg. LPG is expected to come down to 85 Rs per KG in coming weeks. I wonder still ppl prefer to burn in the heat for CNG.

BTW i am using my CNG kit for LPG. No modification except the extra water pipes. And i can revert back to CNG with same kit, i will just need to remove all LPG present in cylinder. I have tested this twice. PPl say that you need to wash your cylinder, i never did. But i do not recommend going back and forth in CNG and LPG. Stick to one.

not at all. cause cng operates at 200 bars while lpg pressure is 4-5 bars only.

CNG cylinder is 200% safe for LPG, but using a deomestic cooking cylinder is a disaster waiting to happen, I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE it!!!

Yesterday CNG was available only till 3:00 PM, i could not fill it due to long long queues.
One of my friend asked me lets fill our cars with LPG. I was astonished how is that possible. Well we both filled 10, 10 kg LPG in our cars. Both cars are ALTO 1000cc with genuine CNG fitted.
LPG rate was RS. 110/- per KG.
I was still amazed what will happen now !!
Well no sooner i started the car and converted it on LPG, car moved like q bullet. I never experienced such a pick and response from my Alto before even on petrol.
Today evening gass finished and i covered total 152 km with AC.
Gass filler told me that there is still 3 kg un-usable gass present in Cylinder. It mean average was 22km/kg.
It is further amazed to me when lpg filling boy told me that when ever LPG not available i can still fill CNG with the same setting.
Unbelievable for me but truth.

Today, I have filled 6 KG of LPG in my Margalla's CNG cylinder, no adjustment was required. Car was running like on Petrol. I am waiting to finish the LPG in order to check the mileage. Overall I am satisfied with the LPG performance.
