CNG in Altis Automatic

Lambda Sensor is factory installed in Altis but you need to connect it to the CNG Lambad conrol unit.
Lambda Sensor will make sure that you wont have any pickup issue.

After Lambda you dont need to do any adjustment as Lambda is a self adjusting equipment.

Well the primary reason for the High octane is that may be it contain less lead than the normal fuel. As Altis has a 3 way catalytic converter so its better to use a fuel with less lead.
Also Altis required fuel of 89 Octane. Whereas HighOctange is around 92 octane. and Super os 87 octane. Toyota Indus recommend using a mixture of super and hioctane.
I have heard that few people have encountered knocking problems with Altis using normal fuel but I am not sure.
I agree that high octane is more suitable for Domestic Japnese cars like Vitz , JDM corolla and Camry . As their manuals clearly states that a fuel of 92 octane is required.

i really liked that u have 1.8L auto altis and its running that gud on cng ......... really nice, till now i have heard alot that auto wont perform well on cng with these normal 2nd gen kits, like landi renzo usually have in market, few says the efi kit is only injection kits like LOGAS and few of Landi REnzo , as u have mentioned earlier, but its really nice to see with lambda ur auto car is working gud, and the figures u mentioned abt pick are in my openion awsome.
kindly its abt almost a year of ur last post, i wana know hows it going now, its almost above year , so hows ur over all exp, ur recommendation ? or any alteration that u think u missed would helpfull for other .........

The cars still going strong without any issue.
The only difference that I have noticed that for one month or so the consumption has increased from around 145Km per cylinder to 120 Km per cylinder.
However I discussed it with fellow pakwheelers and we are of the opinion that it could be due to the spark plugs that I are still orignal after 32 K.
I am planning to change them in next 1-2 weeks. However so far no problem with the CNG and its working great not a single visit to any CNG mechanic.

bro i think he got kit from " AL-RAZAQ " workshop, it is in G-10 markaz I&T center, near in front of AL-MUBARAK cng workshop . They are also authorized of Landi - Renzo kits.

CNG can be installed on any vehicle. For the SIS Kit you need to get your Manifold drilled and have the injectors fitted in them. If anything goes wrong its a big risk but performance wise its the best available thing.
A sure bet will be a simple EFI with Landi Renzo STAP (Advancer) and Emulater.
Check out the LandiRenzo Advancer STAP 200 or STAP 56whether it supports CL7 or not.
A really nice Lambda controller by Landi Renzo is also available in the market here in Islamabad but I could not find any person that can work on its software.
Also please make sure you get the Landi Renzo orignal Italian Kit as Lahore is famous for 2 numbers kits.
Even the reputed members have been cheated.

I just had discussion with Razaq CNG regarding CNG installation in my Civic Oriel Prosmatec (2004). He is saying that the kit will be landi renzo (italian) but advancer & emulator will be of MTS? is it any good? Secondly

• what is MAP II sensor and why is it better for automatic transmission?
• does this advancer (MTS) has this sensor?

MTS will be some new company. Havent heard about them much. Its always better to use some trusted company.
Landi Renzo is best but its availability and prices are high. For New civic first check the advancer number. I know that in older civics the number of the advancer (Stap) is 77.
Advancers are of different types.
MAP Timing advancers
Gear Wheel Timing advancer
Coil timing advancer

Not sure which one is really better you can ask Spectra on this forum regarding the difference in advancers.

Make sure you get orignal Landi Renzo emulaor and advancer and thats all about it.
My Lambda experience is excellent but I cannot find any more experienced CNG Lambda installers .

I own a Honda 2008 VTi Prosmactic and am planning to convert it on cng. i read about lambda, emulators etc, stuff that flies way above my head but since the experts recommend i concur with ur opinion. A frient told me that my VTi does not require a lambda as it will require to many alterations. Please tell me the ideal configuration for my VTI prosmatic 2008.

Lambda is definetly better however we dont have much expertise.
So I would recommend you to go without it.
For the place in Karachi some karachities can give you a better idea of a place. You can use Landi Renzo STAP 200 for civic. The simple (obvious )check that your civic is working fine is that your engine check light should behave normally like it is doing now. i.e it turns on only when you switch in the ignition and then remain off. In case the engine check light have come on while you are driving it means some issue with the system.
