i have also city 09 and i couldn't installed the cng till now because it is running well on petrol, i suggest the oil to u that just change the oil caltex fully synthetic 5w-30 from authentic shops

wat about zic iz gud or not if gud recomend me wich 1?

When your done like 5000+km the average will set in real well.

Abi to 12km/l bahut bari baat hai sir 8-9 hoti usually.

well guys wht shd we do as the petrol price is increasng 7 to 10 rs from the strtng of march.......well my city is also booked and will arive in a week........so wht shd ppl do if the petrol prices wil increase

keep it on petrol dear.. it will easily give 15+ after running is complete ..zic is awesome ...
if u install cng u will easily spend 60000rp on that.. in 60000 u can do lots of travelling on petrol + after installing cng more problems +less pick + n cng will also cost some money so in my opinion dont go for it..

in first few oil changes use zicA+ than after some time i think around 15k use zic a

If you do cost benefit analysis I think both CNG n Petrol are somewhat equal. Petrol cost is offset by the upfront payment that you have to make to install CNG Kit.

At the end choice is yours whatever suits you the best but I wont recommend it installing it before 5,000 Km.

your car is under 1000 km, complete it 1000 and check from honda 3S, oil will be changed after 5000 km.
My suggestion is to read car manual and booklet for servicing and initially use honda synthetic oil from 3S and after 10k to 15k install cng.

Lots of congratulations on your new city. Kindly update me on your mileage once you get it converted to CNG. InshAllah Ill be buying a City soon and intend to use it on CNG because petrol prices are already at 80.

i would agree with recommendations by everyone "NOT" in favor of CNG. And like many said, its milage will keep on optimizing when you reach 5000KM on the odometer. I usually pre-heat my car before putting it into D (drive) waiting for that blue cold engine light to turn off. Even then it gives me 11.8 Km. Also its running on 195 width tyres (stock size is 175).

You may get a good CNG kit (lets say you go for the best i.e. Gas Injector Kit or OMEGAS by Landi Renzo) that would have a great pick-up but it would cost you 75k minimum. Also you would be sacrificing on engine warranty, Monday-Tuesday Gas Load Shedding. Plus long queues.......Think abt it.....You didnt spend 1.4 million for nothing.......Enjoy it.....Rest is your choice.....

And as for the ZIC product.....Mr. Jahangir2009 suggested you the right choice.....

However a fellow PW member "SK ZIC" suggests using latest ZIC OW API SN 0W-30
It actually exceeds the cold oil viscosity requirements by honda..."10W".. and meets the hot oil viscosity requirement "-30"

Note: I have'nt used ZIC......I'll stick with Honda for the 5000 KM change just to keep the warranty for engine and transmission....Then at 10'K km, i'll think about ZIC.....

yep i knew but u knw petrol prices going up n up,,,,, but im still driving on petrol it give me only 12 km/l in city traffic i alwz drive in city traffic i never go outside from lahore... in ful tank it give me 400 km do u think itz fair enoug to use petrol rather than cng?

Bhia stick to one oil.

Zic A+ then A after few thousand. Dont do this. Id only recommend shifting to a thicker 10w/40 oil like Zic A after 100,000+
