Chaudhary bhai g11 k to pas hai 26, why dont u get cng from 26 no?

For me 12km(26 no to g9) extra travel to get cng is fine as long as i can get it in less then an hour

20-30min for going n then same for coming back, n then 30min for refill, 1hr30min
i dont know where is this no 26, i'll spend half of my time just looking for pumps lol

waise i thought i'll get cng in 1hr so there was no need to go there, but they stopped for building pressure n still i didnt got full pressure :mad:
now will get up at 5am for refill though its only 32km driven but well one tank lasts some 110-120km
i seriously should add another cylinder n then it'll last one week for me but then i wont have any trunk space left haha

there were long lines even at 3am, then at 5am also there were some 40 cars, n i thought i cant get a refill now but by 5:45 there was hardly any car, got up n went straight there,got it filled in 2min
they were using 4 points, so thats how lines reduced, they preferred sale over pressure

now thats the best time to get cng, @hellsguardian now you see lines got increased this time, how so from that 0.5% users of pw

if u go towards G13 from G9 on kashmir highway, first comes the G13 toll plaza but if u go straight then comes another toll plaza which is motorway toll plaza, thats motorway chowk? it takes some 20min atleast to reach there from G11, have been there

not towards motorway toll plaza but on pesh GT road

when you go on kashmir highway then straight onto islamabad toll plaza(aint collecting toll now)

then a around about come go straight then there is a left turn

(if you go straight you will end up going towards motorway and its toll plaza)

turn left onto main GT PSH road as you turn on the over head bridge then in line cng pump starts

so i was right then
second toll plaza, the main one is motorway chowk but u turn to GT road from that
mostly it takes time to reach till G13 toll plaza, after that u can easily maintain speed of 100 n reach till next toll plaza in some 5-10min
i guess if just going to get cng, it'll take some 30min to reach n find a suitable pump

yes probably not suited for you because road is under construction too. I come from pindi so i just have to travel one side where road is good and its my way back home anyway. In coming days, peshawar morr will be blocked totally so i might even have to go pindi from there.

finally some one tested lpg in islamabad, n the result is pretty good, n if we can test just by switching pipe from cng cylinder to lpg cylinder, then any1 can try it on test basis

I was curious about LPG, so to test I converted my existing CNG kit to LPG just for testing. (there is no modification to cng kit). I just put a 15KG LPG domestic cylinder in my trunk. Gas cost 106/KG in Islamabad. 1600/- for 15Kg cylinder.

Here are the stats.

Engine Honda D15B 1500cc
Kit : Existing CNG Landi renzo
Piping : existing CNG.
Pipe disconnected from CNG cylinder and installed on LPG cylinder.(the only modification)
Mileage: 280km for 15kg LPG... cost of Gas 1600/-.... 280km/15kg = 18.66 km per Kg.....
Cost Per Km: Rs.1600/280Km = 5.71 Rupees per Km
probably I need to get some mixture adjusted to get 25Km/Kg.

I think it is a good alternative to CNG, no wait in long lines for cng refill.

from shops n almost every1 is getting it filled from shops even in lhr n karachi as there are no pumps or just one, even one pump in whole karachi

n there are so many shops so no big lines

LPG cylinders are cheap. But no need to even put a separate cylinder. Your existing cylinder is good to hold 40KGs of LPG...!!!

And there are no safety constraints. CNG operates at 200bar, while LPG pressure is only 5~7 bars (need to check the exact figures, but it is many times lesser than CNG).

I had already told this fact to you. My relative owning a LPG fill up shop in punjab claimed figures of 25 Km/Kg.
