Electric load shedding is making it worse.
In Rawalpindi, I don't think any CNG station switch on the generator and there is load shedding after every hour.
Took me 3.5 hours last night to get CNG. From 2am to 5:30 am. Load shedding from 2am to 3am and then from 4am to 5am.

I went to TM CNG, Islamabad Expressway last night at about 8:30 pm. As I was not feeling well, opted for 'express' lane (towards highway - 90 rupay wali). There were only 6-7 cars in front of me. Just when 3 cars were left ahead of me, they stopped taking cars from our lane. There was chaos everywhere ... It was quite hot with big big machars. There was one loooooong regular line, one express line of about 15-20 cars, one express hiace line, and on top of that they kept on letting jan-nay walon ki cars inside. There was a talk of a new 100-rupay wali line and mango-people were being told that pressure had dropped (*&%# liars)

So, at about 10 pm, I left TM CNG, and went to kaak-pul (which I wanted to avoid due to that extra 20-km drive). Finally, got CNG at about 11:45 pm at 200 pressure (so all was not lost)

some1 was telling me about some1 who just goes to the pump n they give her cng without any wait time, happened twice at 2 different pumps in same week

here at G11 pump, even police is getting cng without any wait time, so not just jan pechan but power as well
all police guys of ASI n above rank

i was lucky to get gas just near closure time couple of times
but yesterday failed :S ......to many bl oody cabs and only 20 mins wr left for closure

From scheme 3 to g9 its 18km. From 26no to g9 its 7km so at most scheme 3 to 26no will be 18-7 = 11km.
So if one has to come from airport then add couple from km and its 30km round trip.

But ofc, its easily 30mins+ of travelling each side so not worth it

in case of 30km total trip its not that bad, even @isbcap used to cover same distance or 34km to get cng instead of waiting for hours in line, just the drive time lol

dont know about other pumps but atleast after 5am, at g11 pump they start using 8 points even when they hardly got any pressure so no matter how big of a line every1 gets cng n pretty quickly though once a guy ahead of me only got cng of 5rs lol

few tips,
* park and lock car in queue and wait in shade.you will feel 50c difference sitting inside the car and waiting out in shade
* while car is locked keep front windows 1 inch down

I could not get CNG tonight. Went to Gulrez at 7:33pm and there were very long queues on all CNG stations but no electricity except at Pearl who always switches his generators on. It had very long queues so I went down to Shaheen and light came at 8.00 pm and line started moving but at 9.00pm again loadshedding started. I left the line, bought a hadwana and came home.

One simply does not have any energy after spending 9-10 hours at office. But I am amazed to see the patience in people when it comes to CNG, they can wait all the night and I can see long queues one evening before the opening of CNG Salute my Hamwatans.
