Well, you mean the gas subsidy being given to industry is financed from CNG business? quiet strange. CNG businesses are paying the actual prices, while fertilizer industry is paying at reduced rate. That price differential is paid by Govt. in the form of subsidy, a huge amount of which is allocated in the budget as well. What is the purpose of that subsidy? just to get the cheap fertilizer, electricity etc. which is the need of every citizen of Pakistan. While CNG is burnt in vehicles by ? how many people? in terms of percentage?
In 2007 there were 1.6 Million vehicles using CNG, dont know the current figures.
Brother we need Gas for industry, instead of burning the same in our vehicles, so we could get cheap crop / electricity.
W.r.t. availability, i didnt mean the frequency of shutdowns. I meant scarcity, when a thing is scarce, we need to set priorities that where it should be used first.
You took my example in different direction, you should use CNG as it is cheaper. Suppose if you work in a Fertilizer company and you use CNG car, your factory is facing shutdown as they have filled that gas in your car.
