CNG related problems

Dear Fyq!
My Khyber (CNG of course) takes jerks, especially in 1st and 2nd gear. What could be the reason?
CNG kit is looking very oily and dirty from lower side. Should I need to get the kit and cylinder fully serviced?
Pls suggest some good place near I-10 (Islamabad). How much it will cost to fully service kit and cylinder both?

fayq bhai it is not a problem ov head gaskets. i got it checked on computer from enercon G 10 and the guy there told me its one coil and 2 leads are not working properly so i wasted my another day and went to kabari bazar and got the required items from madina market.got them changed but problem persisted ,even again changed the coil but no use . so i gave the coil and leads back to kabari pathan and came back home. during these few days i ve noticed many thing and i want to share them wid u so that the situation might get clear to u
1. if i run the car on cng it gets very hot although the tem needle remains below half but engine and bonnet gets hot and remains even after i park it and switch off,means jaldi thandi nahin hoti
2. when i run the car on petrol it remains normaly hot and after parking it takes very less time in cooling ,although during driving the temp needle remain same as in case of gas
3. when car is automatically converted on cng after starting i have to give race to make it's rpms stable
4. once rpm are stable and i switch on ac rpm drops but but does not stall, the moment i switch on head lights wid ac rpm drops like a dead **** .
5. today i got it scanned on OBD scanner . the guy charged me 1000 rs and gave me another khuskhabri k check light is due to EGR problem
6. all these problems are on cng . on petrol its excellent widout any single issue.
i know post has gone very long but i want to clearly tell u the problem so thay u can diagnose it well. thnx

and one more thing fayq bhai jub gari garam hoti hai to starting or stall dono maslay ziada ho jatay hain. abhi main nay aik thread main non pulse cng system k baray main parha hai shud i go for it means if u have any knowledge abt it and its advantages/drawbacks.plz info

I'm having prob with ma Khyber,its 91...when i start it in morning it takes 2 or 3 long selfs and also when cool down or after 5-6 hrs, pick is gud,consumption is also gud but m nt satisfied with the starting. I change the battery and no improvement at all....i also had checked ma self....but still the problem is their.I went for the over all tuning and nthng changed. but when the car is hot means after 1,2 hrs it take half self..........

can any1 help me out plzzzz.....

Dear FYK,
i have Liana LXI but facing a problem that whenever i change it from petrol to cng it starts missing for about 10 minuites or so, after that engine becomes stable. As far i know its a problem of petrol-gas mixing. Although i have little knowledge about cars, but dont know how to fix this problem. Is there any solinoid valve for petrol, if yes where is it located in the engine? and what all could be the reasons for petrol-gas mixing? looking forward for your kind reply. Thanx

Dear fyq;
I have recently bought Corona 88, with 1600cc, carburetor engine. CNG is installed. On a Cylinder of 55 it gives me around 130-140 with and without AC. I usually let the CNG get completely consumed and run on Petrol before refilling. By doing this I am facing a problem, whenever I refill CNG and convert back from petrol, it works fine at that time. But after sometime the solenoid valve (I hope the part name is correct) on CNG Kit leaks making engine stall. I shutdown the valve by turning CNG off from CNG switch. Then after couple of seconds, when I turn the CNG switch on it works fine. I have gone to couple of CNG mechanics and they failed to explain this. Please note that this does not happened if I refill CNG without converting to Petrol.

I hope I am able to communicate you my problem.

liana is efi i dont think there can be a pblm ov petrol gas mixing in any efi veh

Hi guys

I need you help,
I recently bought 2006 used liana. It was not working good with ac on CNG. I went to get it tuned from Suzuki 3S and they told me that CNG sleeve is broken. From sleeve the mechanic meant

The thing under the guage which has a black cap on it and used to set CNG pressure.

He asked me to get a KABULI one as this thing is every expensive.

Anyone who had a similar problem? and did some solution? I will really appreciate it.

I am facing problem with my indicators light of CNG. When i get the cylinder fulled from CNG station it shows all green lights. When the CNG is about to end it shows one green light and then all of a sudden it shows all green lights. It is difficult for me than to know about the CNG end but i always get to know from the Mileage. I think its a problem in switch?
What do you suggest group?
My car is Alto VXR, 2008 recently i have the done the tunning of my car.Average is good on CNG.

Dear brother i have changed the clutch & pressure plate of my coure 2003. After the change of the parts the my car was running well for 1 to 3 days. After that when i start my car on CNG in the morning it starts missing. I have also tuned my car and CNG mechanic had removed the missing problem and i have changed its point and air filter but the problem still continues. Please reply me as i am worried about my car's missing problem

Hi,

I have 07 cultus efi and getting this issue that whenever its converted from petrol to CNG, the car just dies and doesnt convert. It seems like its not picking the CNG. The CNG switch does show that now petrol is gone and CNG light is on but even after paddling the accelerator, the car just doesnt convert to CNG or the CNG doesnt flow towards the engine..

ANyone got any clue what could be wrong?

please anyone can tell me the solution about my mehran's over race. my mehran problem is when i start it, it become raced (if we measure its rpm that will be near to 1500rpm) my mechanic told me that its due to carburater butterfly fault.
