hi,i have installed cng to nissan ga16 1600cc efi engine.i wana ask dat whether it is compulsory to reduce the airflow to cng by blocking some area of the air-filter hose pipe???

Hi can a vehicle run with only CNG without any petrol? I had came to know that nowdays in foreign countries instead of petrol they are going to use CNG?

if you car have cng and you keep tab on the CNG filling, there are likely chances that you ever use petrol. - the car at home for domestic use runs on CNG last petrol fill was in Dec 2009, 20 liters. since then the fuel needle is static and CNG is filled ever 90 KMs. car is Diahatsu Coure. - so virtually in almost 2 years the car is running on CNG. without using any petrol.

i ve city 2007 ... installed cng few days ago ... problem is my check engine light comes up on cng but car dosent have any problem no jerks or engine stall ... its only on cng not on petrol ... whats the issue here.

A.O.A fyq bro, i have Khyber 98 on cng it pick is not good and car do not run fast i have change the plug and also air filter but no effect. tell me what the problem.

Salam Bhai... i have HONDA Civic EXI 2006 Prosmatic on CNG....

Cylinder: 55KG
Millage: 115,000 Approx.

Average... 60-70 KMS in city with A/C and 90-110 on long route with A/C.

the problem is that average is quite less,, how to improve the same??
and when ever i visit ISB... i have problem driving the car on ISB CNG. when ever i apply breaks... car engine shut down.... and same happen when i come to Lahore... and every time i have to get CNG Setting re-installed.... so could u plz guide how to fix this matter once for all?

sir I dont know about the cost, u can inquire the cost from landi authorized dealer
you dont need to change the complete setup
let me make u understand in layman terms
you must be knowing about the cng adjusting screw on the regulater, (the screw on manual power T with which u control the amount of gas to be mixed with air for combustion) this power T will be replaced with a motorized one and the screw will be replaced by a motor which will adjust the air fuel mixture now who will tell the motor to increase or decrease gas flow for that we have sensors in exhaust and throttle body which senses the amount of demand and load u require from the engine that sends a signal to the digital processer (which my friend sjehsan was confusing with advancer) and this device then sends command to the motor and in this way this system works
hope u got it now

PS ur existing advancer and emu will remain as they are rite now

LAMBDA CONTROL SYSTEM LC01

It's an electronic system which manages the carburation in traditional gas system (LPG or natural gas) with mixer for vehicles equipped with a lambda sensor. The LC01 ECU ensures correct air/fuel mixture by driving the actuator which doses the gas flow from the regulator to the mixer, located on the intake manifold (gas flow continuous regulation system). LCS-LC01 system does not need manual adjustments and it can automatically adapt to the different environmental conditions and use of the vehicles.
The system consists of the following components:
1. COMPUTER LCS-LC01
The LCS-LC01 computer is defined as a Stand Alone system for the fact it doesnt interact directly with the petrol system ECU, but it works in a separate and independent way. The computer processes the signals from the lambda sensor, the ignition input, throttle body angle signal to manage the correct air/fuel mixture on each engine working condition, by driving the actuator which doses the gas flow at the engine entry.
The main functions of the LC01 computer are:
Emulation of the correct signal of lambda sensor
A diagnostic and programming system by means of a special Tester-Programme to control mixture and conversion optimization
Petrol starting with automatic switch over to gas in a period of time depending on the environmental and engine conditions by managing the gas solenoid valve
Actuator driving to adjust the mixture
Managing of different safety devices when the vehicle runs on gas, as for instance a built-in system to cut off petrol injection and an electronic safety device that cuts off supply to the LPG/natural gas solenoid valves if the engine talls.
2. ACTUATOR
Electromechanical device which doses the gas capacity by turning a step motor controlled by the computer so as to maintain the correct air/fuel mixture on each engine working condition. 3. LCS-LC01 SWITCH/GAUGE
Electronic component, located inside the interior compartment, whose main functions are:
Gas/petrol selection with 2 positions and gauge for the fuel being used by means of 2 lighting led
Display of the level of gas in the tank by means of 5 led
Diagnosis device
Acoustic indicator (buzzer) - optional.

Dear ,
I have got CNG (Landi Renzo ) installed from Pindi (I think it was Makkah CNG behind 6<SUP>th</SUP> Road</ST1:S) in corolla xli 2005 (2nz-fe engine). The car is running fine on CNG. After 2-3 days I have noticed that during morning the car has absolutely no power on petrol when I drive through an upward slope on petrol but it climbs easily on cng (the slope is not too steep). But during day time it has no such issue. I start driving when engine has reached its optimum temprature level.

Went to Toyota Aabpara Motors but no definite answer. They said that may be Emulator could be faulty as it is desi. The Emulator is Tomasetto CIP 4. May be I should get Throttle body serviced, The CNG wiring is not correct as the mechanic has wired it through Air sensor and it would ruin the sensor etc etc. Even Tuning and CNG adjustment did not help.

Got a chance to visit Toyota Tarnol outlet. They said Emulator may be faulty, May be wiring issue or may be Suction plate etc

Any help to address this issue would be greatly appreciated as I am totally confused that why only during morning this problem is there. 2ndly, how can I check that the wiring of the emulator/advancer has been correctly done by the mechanic who has installed the CNG kit. The Emulator seems to work fine as I can see changing of lights from idle to acceleration position.

brother in efi cars emulator is one of the important things to have performance like petrol engine........better get orignal one and better visit al-razzaq cng in G10 islamabad
