Collinite 845 wax on white paints

Confused after reading different experiences

It's really not that difficult to be honest. Collinite is a mixture of carnauba + synthetic polymers so it eventually will pale the color but that can easily be restored with compound/polish after a couple of years. My two cents, just go for it. Keep your paint protected and don't bother much about pale surfaces. Any synthetic wax is good for white color but collinite works fine too. I myself have been using 476s for almost 6 months and can see a tinge of paleness but not that bothered about it.

Get meguairs synthetic wax. It will serve you good and lasts long as well.

Use whatever brand you like, but don't say that Collinite pales white cars. Collinite must have included the warning for white cars if it caused paling.

The point under consideration here is not which wax is the best rather which one will cause yellowness.
Now to use Collinite or other Carnauba waxes on white colour is ones own choice.

Ideally synthetics are ones to go. This has been tested through times.

In Pakistan white color will pale due to enviornment at all costs, unless you won’t use cleaner wax after every 6-8months.

It’s abrasive, silver one is less, black isn’t abbrasive!
I use it as a cleaner wax after 6 months. Good cleaner wax not a protectant durable wax.

I have a gun metallic color corolla gli 2011, what wax polish would you recommend that would last for at least 04 weeks or more. I live near sea side so you can imagine the dust and moisture that coats my car everyday

Always scrub or clay car before waxing. Collinite is going great after 7 washes for me...this means 4 weeks already..water beading like fresh wax...eax over contaminated surface gives bad results

Which synthetic wax is recommended for white color?

I have 845 with me but I am reluctant to use it on white color.

The 845 wax is a like a light yellow colour so suits these cars. If put on a black car you get a slight yellowing effect - too much and the streaks might make it end up looking like a bee! Do the maths for white.

Similarly, using a wax for dark cars (like dodo Purple Haze or Natty's Blue) will make your light car appear with a purple or blue haze. That is really bad as more people will think your car is dirty and some scientists might even think you car has been hit by particularly intesnive solar radiation and try and quarantine you to make sure you havent undergone cell mutation from the super strong UVa rays.

The orange coloured waxes are even worse! So never ever use the wrong coloured wax on the wrong coloured car.
