Comparison between Honda Citi 2006-2007 and Honda Citi 2009-2010

the drive quality of new City 2009 automatic version is way below that of the old ones.

i cannot digest that. bro i drive both vario and A/T city. new one is way better than vario. it shifts so smoothly that we can even compare it to cars above its class

old was 65hp new one is 100hp, have both of them and new one rocks,,, no knocking issue in new 1 as honda changed the ecu settings,, have a 06 and 11 model,, yes the black interior is not for every one but as total package its the best 1300cc car in its category besides 01-03 city was also awesome but now later models seem better,, time time ke baat hai,,,

Hi guys I am planning to sell my citi 2006 as my dad has advised me to buy a new citi. My friends have advised me against citi 2010 as they say that the previous citi was far better in performance as compared to new citi. They say that dashboard is made up of poor quality material and gadgets have problems.

My current car is very well maintained with mileage of87000. I have maintained a proper log book against all the oil changes.

Kindly advise if I should go for new citi as I am currently confused.

1st of all ap k friends ny chawali mari ha bro there is no comparison b/w the performance of both cars new city is far more better is handling braking pick accelration economy
dashboard is just black n hard to maintain cheap weap kuch ni sab baten han
ur city is better then new city in term of smoothness (very smooth drive) ,silence , n sauce pention (lolz suspension of ur city is much better then new 1) n interior clr else new one is far far more better then idsi city

i had city 2o05 also i had 2o09 city.
personally i like city 2o05.suspension is really far better then 2o09.milage is far better then current shape and at times i felt the road grip is better of idsi.i drove 2o05 city 197o0okms and still i wanted more of ciy 2o05.got 2o09 drive 40k kms and sold it.
new city features abs.
new city has po0r interior quality as compared with city 20o5.
idsi is does not comes hard on budget if u drive on either gas or petrol.u must have been hearing many ppl saying idsi gives 2o0kms (+-5 kms) per gas tank.its true.have u heard anyone say about new city?
new city does not have light in boot
IMO u should not go for new city and go on with existing city.best of luck

suspension of idsi is better agree but u dont hav to drive the new 1 on bumpy roads all the time
consumption of new city is far more better then idsi
road grip of isi is better then new hahahahaha a big joke idsi gt worse braking handling n grip

city idsi was never underpowered.infact its the most aerodynamic ever assembled in pakistan

drove my friends 2010 city on my way back from peshawar on motorway... the car was on AC and cng with 4 ppl... Blv me i had to lift my foot from accelerator to drop my speed below 130... The drive was smooth... An XLi 06 model overtook and gave me hazards... i switched to petrol with AC still on and in no time i was hitting 175km/h and it could go on... the drive was just so good even on that much speed...

though the road in mardan was very bumpy and the drive got pretty slow plus uncomfy!

my analysis of the vehicles is:
Acceleration: New city
Road grip: New city
Braking: New city
Looks: New city

comfort: old city
suspension: old city (way better)
consumption: old city (but with too much lesser power)
Interior quality: old city(way better... new city is plastic)

The only thing I dont like abt new one is that its gadgets are very unreliable... My friend drives his car on CNG and yet the petrol needle drops constantly.. even the reserve light gets on... Thats very irritating!

One more thing i dont like abt new hondas is absence of Heat indicator... When the car gets older u need that badly to keep an eye on the temps!

So ur choice now!

Sir, extremely sorry ... but i really dont know why always ppl suggest that old one is good ... i still remember when i was changing my car in 2006 .. from 2001 cultus to 2006 .. ppl saying dont buy its crap etc etc ... anyways..
..
knocking issue .. also in old city .. if gaps of plugs/bad petol it knocks ..

In short .. my vote always for new car !! go for that u will like it ...

I will say that go for the new its the best I drive it ..its sound less seriously ..I love its shape n also from interior n gives sporty looks ...
