Comparison: Suzuki Swift & Honda city (2010)

Well there is also difference of price.If you have budget of swift go ahead because it is the best car in this price.If you can pay for 2 years old car vitz then you can also go for swift.And if u have 2 lacs more go for city as it is sedan .Suzuki image is not good in Pakistan.So dont look mehran or alto we are comparing swift with city not wth mehran.

@adnan747: Well thats what i am saying that swift is giving more features in lesser amount of money. I had the same impression about suzuki quality but after driving swift my perception has changed.

interior of both cars is v.good , but swift overall

Swift: it comes with 15"alloy rims,with Bridgestone tyres,the stock tyre size is 185/60/R15,the tyres are pretty good as compared to that of city's Eurostar....

City: it comes with 15"wheelcups,the tyres are of Eurostar & the tyre size is 175/65/R15,the tyres have no grip @ high speeds i.e 120km/h & above,furthermore they look xtremely small on city...

Ps: i dont have the pic of stock City wheelcups on my car as i changed rims quite early....

2) AlloyRims & better tyres
3) Factory fitted fog lights
4) high mount brake Lamp

Still its 2 lacks cheaper

Why Choose City:

1) More spacious,got a bigger trunk/Dicky
2) We also have the option of Auto transmission unlike Swift
3) We get 3 years Warranty,with relatively better aftersales service than Suzuki
4)The drive of i-Vtec is awsum,though there isnt much difference between the drive of Swift & city but still City got a more comfortable drive...

A really nice and unbiased comparison.
well personally i have driven both the cars and swift isn't a bad car at all. its quiet from inside and the engine is responsive as well with a good drive and brakes. its good value for money.
however on comparison the engine of city is much better despite it being a single cam one maybe because of the i-vtec system. the ride of city is much better in my opinion.

Personally I would go for the Swift any day. City has a girlish shape and is targeted towards middle class/upper middle family while swift is targeted towards young guys. The shape and specs also complement these specific marketing strategies

you missed the most vital feature in my point of view... Immobilizer that swift has and city does not. How good one feel if the new city gets stolen... ahhhh..... priceless...
