I would tell you to hire a lawyer and go to consumer court but unfortunately that will cost you more than 50,380/-. This is the sad reality we live in, Pakistani's being Pakistani's and most of the times we can't do anything about it. If you feel and you if have that undying rage then maybe then go to consumer court, claim the whole amount and claim your lawyers fee as well. In any case id say discuss with lawyer first

They'll make things even more worse. Better to just get your car carried from there to any other dealership and then can do proper proceedings on them and try to share whole incident on all forums.

Reminds me when I had to get work done my on wife's picanto from KIA 3s ,left my driver there with the car whole day , and he watched it like a hawk Reported everything to me what was opened what was taken out in what condition what was put in in what condition . Today's update.

So after juma i went to Honda avenue and took the test drive with usman (head mechanic) and naveed (parts manager).
Discussed everything in detail all their faults and conduct throughout in a calm and relaxing envirement of my car while my phone was on recording
Checked the bearing noise it was all good.
Came back to office asked for the bill. Refused the tensioner and pulley work and paid the 25k bill for bearings with a note that its being paid under protest and dispute is still unresolved. Took pictures of everything. Shook hands with usman, handed over the gate pass and drove to adjacent shell pump for refueling.
Then usman appears from somewhere and asks to meet the owner again and says lets sort out this issue and may be we could wave off and refund this bearing amount. I said ok let me refuel and ill come back to dealership.
Get ready for the buzz....!
Owner came to the meeting room and says whats the update have we come to any solution? Usman tells bill has been paid and they have taken their car. Owner says ok thats fine lets take satisfaction note from him and close the matter.
I asked what satisfaction note when I am still agreived and paid the bill under protest. How can I give you a satisfaction note?
I dont know was he high on cocaine or something he replied we cannot release your car untill you give a satisfaction note.

Was he out of his mind? What is this?
I was about to explode and throw something at him. I shouted how come you can do that? I have paid your bill and retrieved my car its under my ownership who are you to stop me?
Then suddenly his tone changed and said ok ok let me see what you have written. Examined papers and said ill write my own note and submit to honda atlas.
I stood up walked out of office. Usman came after me and i made sure everyone listen that how can he say that should i call on 15 and bring police here?
The arrogance and delinquency is astonishing. Is honda is running a mafia in pakistan? Who gave them permission to act like thug?

Luckily i had started the recording before entering the meeting room i have everything on record he said. Thanks to the guy who shared honda japan email. Ill write an email tonight to them too. Also to honda atlas with all the papers and this gem and legal notice will be served to everyone in coming week InshaAllah.
They will have to refund the bearing amount, replace the tensioner and pulley and compensate for the accident. InshaAllah

No email and doesnt speak english. This was given to me a few months back by a former honda atlas employee. He said this guy is pretty strick with complaints and I should write a translated letter to him.

I had an issue about being sold a fake part, complained to honda japan who responded. Honda atlas contact me, dealer had to resolve. But they were going to fire an employee at the parts department who is just an operator. The parts dept head was at fault who consistently gets fake parts from the market to be sold at offical prices. It was only an ac filter, they eventually replaced with a genuine one. Which is now made by gaurd filter, pathetic filter i must say. As it was just a filter I didnt bother, and emailed them matter resolved, so they didnt fire that guy.

WOW!! What a heart wrenching story. @croogle007 I feel awful for you. I have owned many Honda cars (all zero meter) from a Honda City (first gen), Civic 2007, Civic 2017 and BRV 2021. All were looked after by Classic Honda in I-10/3. I have been their customer for some 20 years. They have handle numerous warranty claims on my behalf and at times replaced more items than what I requested under warranty.

I know you are stuck with Honda Avenue because of this entire horrendous episode. Suggest you switch over to Classic Honda when the time is right and you can do so.

With regards to proceeding with legal action, You may consider Ombudsman (wafaqi mohtasib). However, I am not sure if this matter being in Rawalpindi falls in the jurisdiction of the Ombudsman. A visit to their office and asking the staff there will be valuable and let you know your rights and to what extent they can help.

If they ask you to bring the car there to get work done again for free or to 'fix the issues they caused', DO NOT take your car back there again.

I would rather pay a new shop to work on it, than someone who's already messed it up and who may mess something else up just for spite.

Sorry to hear all this, you had to goto such stress, also make sure to post all of this with evidences, on VOICE OF CUSTOMER GROUP, FACEBOOK, higher authorities tk ek dam jai ghi bat, and dealership will be held accountable for there acts,

Plus lawyers zaroor krna, inko itna stress dana ka customer ko damages pure engine ke dana paran ge tab inko samaj aye ghi.

Just go to consumer court, claim a damage of at least 2 to 3 million rupees for mental agony and irreparable devaluation of your car. Breach of trust/mis commitment. Honda Avenue should be the main party and Atlas Honda for not taking any action, you were there because honda authorised them, if they can't rectify complaints, why are they authorising them. Send them a legal notice to either pay the damages or provide you a car with no repaint. any thing over and above the initial estimate should be refunded

Side skirt has been painted completely but for the door i asked them not to paint and only do dry denting and brush paint to hide scratches.

I have written a formal complaint and sent the draft to my lawyer and other people to approve. Ill send that email to honda japan this time. Honda atlas customer service is continuously trying to convince me on dealership terms and asked me to let go the matter now as i have retrieved my car from them now. I am not agreeing to anything.

Ill send the email to honda japan tomorrow and other officials who i have found the emails for. Also hard copies to honda atlas japanese officials by mail. Lets see what happens.

As far as posting to social media is concerned ill start sharing that complaint on these above mentioned forums from tomorrow.

Does this matter fall under ombudsman's jurisdiction?
I have checked their website they are taking complaints against government's institutions only. There is a bar down option to choose from a list of gov bodies to file complaint against.

I am not sure. It just might. That is why I suggested to go to the Ombudsman Secretariat and find out. I have had some experience with Ombudsman but relating to a different issue. The issue was based in Pindi and since that case was entertained by Ombudsman, I suggested to approach them. No harm in going and asking if they will entertain your issue.
