Condition of the road to Muzaffarabad?

More than a month ago road condition from Kohala onwards wasn't good.

I returned from a point where there was no road and it was bajri. I feared that when coming down on wayback, mite not i control the bike... due to angle of the road and no protection on sides.....

Anyway i shouldnt miss that....

Anyone recently visited Muzaffarabad ? I am planning a visit this month and need to know the road conditions there ? I will go on car and have city 2007.

I went to Muzaffarabad last weekend. The road till Kohala is in excellent condition. But from Kohala to Muzaffarabad there were couple of spots where the road was heavily damaged due to floods/land sliding. Construction work was in full flow. Those points were not dangerous but just one way traffic was possible on those spots. Otherwise the road was in great condition.

Thanks, i was told yesterday by a friend that after kohala the road is kachi and sine it's slope is more so its better to go in a jeep then in car.

Ok thanks, i have a city 2007 (petrol). How is the weather there these days ?

City will do fine but dont take it further park it in muzafarabad n hire a jeep....weather is hot like i hve to switch on the AC even in night time.

Hills ma landslide road repair tou chalti rahti ha...

Waisay it is the best road of the whole AJK roads... (Murree-Kohala- Muzaffarabad)

Choti moti repair tou chalti ha... if there are spots (bad road) it length will be only 20, 30 meter..

So dont worry at all.
