I knew that only a person such as yourself can give such an opinion I suppose that Raptor would do me fine, I suppose it would give around 2-3 kms per litre which would be the reason why I should go for the Raptor

@babaromar I got 31.7 miles per gallon on g t road driving around 120km/h.
On motorway, the average it showed was 29.3 miles per gallon driving on and above 140km/h
City average is same as above.

The vehicle is 2007 vigo invincible

@ Haroon,

I think that the average is pretty decent for a truck this size. Are there any problems that you are facing with the UK version? I heard that the nozzles tend to choke because of the pathetic quality of diesel? Also, is there a difference between the two engines in the 2010 Thai Vigo, namely one being the VN Turbo version.? And which one is better?

You are so right Umer bhai. I will try that, but I suppose that the Santro will fall apart in a few days if it travels on the pathetic roads that lead up to PQ. You have kept it really well and I wouldnt have th heart to *&^%$ it up

get brand new local vigo champ fully loaded n later add unichip with front mount intercooler for more power.....imported thai vigo r too expensive nowadays 2010 thai vigo costing 50+

wouldnt a local vigo feel like **** since one is downgrading from 200 series. Local vigo costs 36.5 lacs 3 lacs reg..... total costs 40ish.... not worth it

A friend is selling his 2010 vigo thailand model for 39 lakhs VN turbo its in white auto though!

VN turbo Thai version are gr8 as they have vertical nouzels which can take our diesel easier as previous d4d have had problems one time or the other you will have to chnage ur fuel injectors. I recently replaced my LC3 manual 2005 D4D injectors.

2010 model Vigos are selling at almost Rs 4.5 million and 2011 model VN Turbo version selling around 4.65 million. Also, I have been offered a 2.7 litre variant, should I opt for that or is it the same as the 2.5 litre diesel champ, a.k.a THAKKAR??

A friend of mine has Indus Vigo in black. Last night he met me and I asked him about this "underpowered" issue . But his answer was quite contrary. He said he never felt it underpowered and easily touches 140km/h on motorway. He was even satisfied with the diesel consumption of this truck. I took the pics too. Here you go.

I sold my 2010 Vn turbo for 47 Lakhs a year ago... white Vigo are slow sellers for some reason and black is hot seller!

2700cc isnt bad driven it... fells very slow same as prado 2700cc ones does 7km to a ltr same as diesel 3000cc ones drove a 2500cc Indus 2013 one today it has a problem in handling really bad around turns, pick is slow, but good bit is unlike the 3000cc it tail doesnt slip. I compared it with my Mitsubishi L200 animal 2009. Mitsubishi won in ride but toyota hilux isnt bad either new shape does makes up for it the seats arent that comfortable in back. theres one in Pakwheels a 2012 new shape 3000cc vnturbo in black for 45 lakhs in peshawar.

Vigo Thai is the best option available, i had kept that.
Invincible is good too.
First thing, if you have decided to keep a Vigo, get a 3.0 to get rid of underpower thing.
No idea about the local one but i am pretty much sure the quality will not equal Thai.
I am now again looking for a 2005-6 Thai model Vigo in good condition but they say it is short in Islamabad, not getting any.

I found the local one quite tail happy and better in pick as compared to the one with 1KD. Never found Vigos comfortable tho.

Thank you so very much for your time and valuable inputs. Finally have decided to opt for a 2010 model fresh import 3000cc VN Turbo diesel Vigo. After comparing it with the 0 meter local wali and the petrol versions (2.7 & 4.0 versions), found this one to be the best choice. Again, I would like to thank all of my brothers for their comments and advice.

There is absolutely no doubt that a Thai Vigo is much, much, better than the local Vigo champ. Hope you ended up buying your vehicle. Good luck and enjoy it!
