Confused between Prius and Vezel ? Need help [Solved]

That’s a relief Some people say that they are getting 15km/litre can you give me an idea ? Will it give 20+ (vezel) I know it also depnds on how you drive.

There is a post on Pakwheels by a vezel owner, who changed his entire stance about the vehicle after he sold it, look for that, its an interesting read and will explain to you why people don't like Vezel.
Die hard honda fans would never say anything bad about it, mostly that is.
PS: How does one have a range between 23-29, i find that a bit weird, if you have 29, say you have 29, whats with the adding 23 part to it? This is an honest question, no mocking about

I have read all the posts related to vezzel in pakwheels but I have found positive reviews more then negative the negative ones dont explain much. Many people are giving reviews according to there personal preferences , p.s I couldn’t find any solid reason to believe its a very unworthy car. When I first bought aqua I wasn’t happy just because of his pick because I changed my driving style and now when I am just going in normal speed it gives me 25km/litre. And on same aqua my brothers gets 14km/litre.

Haha no problem. A good prius starts from 23 so I just wanted to tell that I don’t want to buy any prius which is below 23 because most of the fully loaded prius start from that range, P.s I am looking for a good car in this range.

It seems your mind is set on Vezel you just want some encouragement and agreement from other people to gain further assurance.

If I remember correctly @Nabs gave a detailed unbiased review of Vezel.

The jist of what I got, was that the conversion from electrical to petrol, is annoying, especially in slow traffic it's very jerky. Secondly the ride is stiff, thirdly the lack of spare tire is a major concern in this country.
Lastly, it lacks electrical and mechanical support, well this I believe is probably been taken care of.
These are proper concerns for many people.
As for the positives, it's a crossover, and they say it's robust.
As for the range is concerned, Prius 4th gen could be in range, if that is an option, I would pick that over a vezel with my eyes closed, that is an amazing machine.
And one more thing, a car and crossover are two completely different things, drive and feel both. And opt for one which appeals more to you, it doesn't matter what everyone says because at the end, it's you who has to drive it, not everyone else

He really convinced me . And gave all the positive points.
Plus I appreciate nabs review but some things are not that much important. Ps It again depends on personal preferences. I know some good mechanics who are already working on Vezel. The main point is I already mentioned I am really impressed by vezel but I am still fan of prius also but kind of bored. I know no hybrid can compete Toyotas hybrid technology.

The conversion part is bothering me more then anything here. I don’t drive much in city , I can’t take my prius and aqua in northern area because ground clearance is not good for both of the cars the main reason vezel was attracting me was the shape ground clearance and hybrid crossover. Can you tell what is the milage of vezel ? And yes you are right in the end I have to drive. But it really helps alot by learn from people’s experience.

did u checked that for Hilly Areas, a hybrid car can be more useful than a non-hybrid ?

If you just want it for long drives, you can get a vezel. Honda's hybrid is assisted hybrid which gives better mileage on long drives. If you are one who likes to over speed, then best get a Grande. Will give you 17 is driven with care and 10 when driven like an f1 car. Almost similar to that of vezel. I had a Prius for two years, Prius consumes more fuel on long than it does in local while covering the same distance. Honda's technology is more suitable for that.
I just don't understand why buy a hybrid if it's not for daily drive, when there are so many better options.

If engine conversion delay / jerks are the only thing that is making you hesitant, then why not take a test drive of Vezel?

Also, have you considered Suzuki Vitara? Its Hungarian made and in similar price range. Its a proper 4WD crossover, so you can even go off-road on it. I am especially fond of its panoramic roof.

These both are hybrid Vezel Hybrid Z and Prius Actually Toyota Prius , comes with a low ground clearance of 165mm. The car is not suitable to dive on all kinds of terrains due to its low ground clearance and Vezel ground clearance is 185 mm.

Yes I am thinking of taking a test drive. That will explain more. Because this is an issue which can't be ignored. Plus Prius is so powerful whenever I push hard I can feel its power and yes there is no conversion delay.
I haven't check vitara will sure do. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't want to go for any other. Because If I won't go for vezel Prius panoramic will be my final decision.
P.s as I said I have an aqua and I am really impressed by its fuel consumption plus it also gives me very good mileage on the motorway. But I am looking for the sedan shape hybrid or SUV so these two hybrids are my final decision. I am doing my research also in other places.Plus Nabs is right I should take a test drive of Vezel.

Best of luck. You will save 7-10 lakh with Prius, have better drive quality and better fuel economy. Only thing you will be compromising is ground clearance.

Vezel is based on the Honda Fit platform, a smaller car than the Prius. My own friend who has used both simultaneously was never in favour of the Vezel as he found its cabin to be quite cramped, the bells and whistles don’t count when you can’t even accommodate a family of 5 comfortably.
