Coolant for Toyota corolla 2004 se saloon auto

first i add 4 litre gallon and after some time got leakage from flenge.

then i buy new flenge for 2400 and thermostat with seal cost around 2300 both are genuine Toyota in Toyota packing.

my car is 200 se saloon auto

now issue resolve mechanic fill water for testing now in search due to old engine what should i do...

1. use LLC pre mixed solution 4 litre gallon cost me around 3500.
2. use LLC 1 litre bottle 50/50 so i have to buy 2 bottle and user 1.5 litre coolent with 1.5 litre of water which cost me around 1100. (picture already share above)
3. use LLC 1 liter and rest of the part filled with RO water recommended by Toyota mechanic due to old engine not taking any risk.

All the above keeping in min life of coolant is 150,000 or 2 year. and save money also already wasted 3500 gallon and toyota coolent is very much expensive but much better than all solutions.

it all depends how much rusty your whole system is. if ur system is too rusty then you may go for 30/70 ratio like 30 concentrated coolant and 70 distilled water.

Then poured pre-mixed coolant and because due to air bleeding some coolant was lost so i mixed the concentrated 1ltr bottle with 1ltr distilled water and top up the coolant.

if you add more water in prmixed solution then there is no advantage of using pre mixed solution as water is already mixed in the solution.

As it was mention on the back of the bottle in 50/50 mix of water but i search on net you may go upto max 70% but depend on coolant instruction.

i ma thinking to go for option 2 , adding more water in coolant mean then there is no use of coolant.

for option 3 then person said bus color ajae pani mien chinai ajae colent ki wo be kafi hai for long period.

agar option 3 mien 1100 ka coolent utilize ho raha hai proper then option 3 is best in all.

pre mixed solution is very accurate mixture its prepared solution no need to add water it is pure and recommended in may article in internet but for old engine we have to take care

why dont you just get toyotas coolant ? yeh desi coolant se acha water hi use karo. Our one pakwheeler once used some amercan coolant in hs car and end up with new multiple issues in his se saloon. asa na ho hazad do hazar bachane k chakar me lakh ded lakh ka karcha nikal ae thre time me.

yes i am using original Toyota coolant

as i discuss with so many people I am using 1 lite bottle of 50/50 mix with almost 2.___ litre of water total will be 3.__ litre.

which will be 75 to 80% water.

I have discuss so many expert using pure coolant is dangerous for old cars. You have to use small amount of coolant.

one of them also told me that you have to take care of the environment where you are living Karachi weather create rust frequently and summer season also its very hot. As all the product is Japanese product so some of the product is made according to their country weather. coolant is use to clean metal particle for sure rust area will be more damage and it will make more weaker.

but in the end i have one question then if pure coolant is not good for old why company recommend to use in old car for sure it will damage the new car engine by the passage of time after 5 to 10 years.

No, i used overall 6 ltrs i.e almost 4 ltrs were pre-diluted while 1 ltr was mixed with 1ltr distilled water. I lost some coolant due to leak nd during exchange of thermostat while some was lost due to air bleeding.

jitni be bahar ki products hai wo bahar kay hisab say waha kay weather kay hisab say bani hai uni car kay lia sameas japneese car jo bani hai wo waha kay weather aur petrol kay hisab sya bani hai.

Bhai ye mechanics aap ko pagal bana rahay hai
Proper coolant and if proper instructions are followed koi risk nahi hai balkay engine ki life hi barhti hai.
Agar concentrated coolant hai jaisay Caltex Havoline long life coolant, usko 50/50 mix kerna hota hai. Aur ager pre mix hai tu pura hi daalna hai.
Aur coolant asal mein rust protection bhi deta hai tu ye aap kaisay khy rahy ho k new engines bhi coolant ki waja sy kharab hojayen gy

As every one recommended that use water instead of coolant. but you can also mix the coolant with water.

Bro if you buy concentrated coolant then you have to mix distilled water and that too not from guessing instead follow the instructions on the back.

And if you buy premix then first remove all water from cooling system and then pour it in directly. No need to add water in a premixed coolant

This is my coolant of choice for any vehicle when doing a full flush. (my camry has same) - Cut with regular cheapo RO water at 50%

Yes - these illiterate morons do not know anything of how a cooling system works - and experiment on customer cost.

It takes less than Rs 200/- to make a coolant pressure tester - which they can use to check for leaks on the whole car before they add coolant. Rather than waste customer money. Its also dependant on customer - I can tell from experience that people shop around for cheapest cost with no regards to quality of work and love to fall for the lunacy spit out by parts sellers and these so called mechanics alike.

back to work, adding coolant without acid flushing the scale from an engine is a waste of time, a mild acid wash (5% citric acid wash) for 5 minutes cleans out garbage from radiator and engine to prepare the system. even minor scale and corrosion stop heat exchange to upto 40% The acid wash and pressure test will show all leaks which can be repaired at the same time the vehicle is at the shop.

in Pakistan - caltex coolant is best as its sold as concentrate (I personally do not like paying for a coolant bottle that is half water - because I can get water for nearly free)
