Once the car is cold can you remove the spark plugs and see the condition?

I am not mechanically inclined enough for that. What should I be seeing though after removing the spark plugs?

Look for any seepage (oil/moisture)
If all clear get the compression test done as engines with poor compression doesn't fire up easily on cold start.
So you need to get it diagnosed properly.
Like take recommendations from
@capsat @Hassan1991 to get compression done in lhr first share the results. And then we will guide you accordingly for the next step to rectify your issue.

in efi engine electrical fuel pumps prime the rail at click of key. to prime fuel rail, click key 3 times in 15 seconds then crank engine with throttle slightly pressed.

the symptoms are of dirty fuel filter pouch inside the pump assembly and the purge valve. both items are service parts and can be purchased new from parts market.

engine start is hardly any effect over cold engine in any case thermostat valve is closed or open. Engine performance does have serious impact after engine warm up and system going in loop if thermostat valve is missing.

Yes I am first changing the fuel filters to see if issue gets resolved. Got asakashi fuel filter non assy rs2600 price from parts central. The problem I am facing now is finding the other filter that comes with fuel pumps, separately without buying a pump as that may be clogged as well. Can you please clarify by what you mean by the purge valve filter change? I have never heard about any filter like that.

CNG has never been installed. Yes I am going for the filter replacements at first, hopefully the issue gets resolved.

purge valve is a one way valve which opens and release pressure when solenoid driven pump capacity is reached to the end point. It can also be called return valve which hold pressure to certain level when fuel pump is off.

filter is a pouch made of mesh as in strainer which feed clean fuel to injector rail. It stops the fuel / tank debris travel to rail feed line

it is inside the fuel pump assembly mechanic can replace it when changing the filter pouch

In this model from what I have seen, there's a fuel filter assembly, a fuel pump and a smaller filter attached to the pump called strainer. The strainer the small filter that comes with brand new fuel pumps in their packaging. I have gotten an asakashi fuel filter without the full assembly, but have not found a strainer or purge valve or fuel pressure regulator. Anyone knows where I can get these parts? I am looking to replace all cheaper items first to see if issue gets resolved, if not, then I will go for a new fuel pump. Btw anyone know of any well priced original non-china fuel pumps for this car? The toyota genuine is extremely expensive.

I did the usual thermostat check. Started the car when cold with the radiator cap opened and saw coolant moving inside. Thermostat is definitely stuck open. Ordered one from parts central.
