Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I figured I'd post some pics of my Corolla in here :). It's a JDM 1993 SE Limited sedan (5-speed). It was completely stock when I bought it, but I've added some mods to it in the 2 years of ownership so far. The first pics are with the old wheels:

Nice one! I always liked them in white...kind of rare color in Canada where i live.

To answer to Levin about the V6, i'll probably be the first fwd Corolla with a V6 ever. The swap of the 3VZFE is coming real soon and i didn't find any Corolla with any V6 on the web excepted some guys that had the same idea than me but never did it.

So here's mine with my hand made front bumper made from a oem Canadian 93-97 Corolla bumper with the bottom of a 01-02 Canadian Corolla:

The actual engine, 7Afe, L4 Dohc 16v 1.8L 105hp 117tq

The engine that will be installed and working in few months

I have many options that you probably never saw before on that car like the headlight washers and the electronically opened gas trap.

Finally the V6 won't be swapped...it don't fit there at all! The V6 is supported on a special frame that the Corolla don't have and CAN'T have it too...the wheel tabs are in the way to add that frame part to the Corolla body...

I could swap a 4age but it's not faster than the 7afe so i'll keep it stock...sorry for the numerous useless topic ''back to the top''...

Hey, m thinking to swap a new engine in my AE101!!
But I just can't seem to get it!
Will a 4efte be better or 4age 20v BlackTop!!
Which one has got more power, and engine lifetime!
I'm asking about da engine life because most engines die when they are fitted with aftermarket parts!
Also, which tranny would suit best for these engines n how much would the tranny n engines cost?
