Corolla 2.0D Saloon....Why do we hate it?

2.0D engine is very well problem of pick but very enjoyable when on hilly area smoke petrol cars

yea man the new 2oD is really good i like the old shape more but the stuff in the new 1 is really good no doubt .

No one hates 2.D
its a very good family car
Only reason for argument is when 2.D is compared to fast cars

because that sounds stupid
it has 1620Kg and 2000cc engine which doesent even have a turbo or intercooler

if it was commin in stock with those specs
then we can say its a diesel sport

NABEEL YAAR 2.0D HAS A TURBO ENGINE.
HOWEVER, ITS NOT WRITTEN BUT ASKED FROM TOYOTA. DON'T KNOW HOW FAR THEY WERE TRUR BUT EVEN THOUGH I THINK THAT ALSO BECZO ONE HINT OD TURBO IS THAT U HAVE TO HEAT ONCE A DAY AND THEN IT RUN FOR THE REST OF THE DAY DON'T HAVE TO GET IT WARM UP AGAIN.

I completely agree with your analysis where the steering wheel isnt situated at the best angle/level.
I felt as if i was driving a minitruck. The posture just isnt what the other cars/old corolla had. And yes I've definitely heard the engine nock inside the cabin which is more obvious than older corolla.
what's the ongoing price for the last shaped corolla 2.0D. when did they start producing that shape in diesel ? was it since 92/93 ?

checked this on 1 saloon diesel, 1 plain 2.0D....they dont cross 140 km/hr on flat road !
the older shape used to touch 170 on flat road.... whats the deal????

how much can an older shape with good condition and mileage with 2.0D be purchased for ?
any ideas ?
