well some say that softer suspension would be faster in corners because the car would adapt to the chasis roll more quickly, but then again at the expense of less steering response, because although the car would be fast and wobbly, you wont be able to control it, since the steering response would take its time to get a hold of a wobbly car.
on the other hand a stiffer suspension would give you precise control over the steering wheel, but might not be quick in the corners, BUT this is kind of confusing, what if a stiffer suspension gets good enough contact angel between the road and tyres, then it would be fast, depends on the circuit, although the suspension being soft or hard plays an important roll in daily use cars, but not too much.
a heavy car would normally have a stiffer suspension because you wouldnt want it to scratch along the road, whilst a lighter car may have a softer suspension, but then again it would go bonkers in high speed corners.
i persume we wont be going around any corner at high speeds, so yes in our country a softer suspenion is prefered by most, but i prefer a stiffer suspension, the steering feels as if your actually controlling a car, and you are at lesk risk of a car losing control in corners.
its a pretty confusing debate.
