sounds like you need to check the fan command and engine temperature simultaneously.

I did try to scan the computer while the fan was running full blast on cold engine. The temperature on the obd2 seemed to resonate well with the actual temp.

Due u have Relay diagram of 2d E120, it has 3 relays one with 5 pins n 2 4pins relay... Can u explain how it work with Ac and thermostat.
As i have converted it in petrol want to get its fan auto...bcoz 1nzfe ecu give battery volts when fan is off im afraid ky kahe Ac circuit say ground n battery volts short na ho jay

The 2nz fe ecu cannot drive the 3 relay system as it works very differently than the 2 relay circuit. As the 3 relay system requires 2 fans to work and takes 12v -ve input to hold them off and the whole setup is controlled by an ac high pressure switch and a 1 wire thermoswitch.

The e120 with 2nz fe had 2 relays and a step down resistor, one relay controls the positive side of circuit and the other controls the ground side in which it can select low or high speed as it passes through the resistor or goes direct.

Actually im more interested in knowing 2.od fan circuit.
What if i install a reply which pass Ground only, when ecu gives 0 v or ground.

I have posted about it dozens of times, it controls the 2 fan speeds by running them in series or parallel

Buy the petrol version radiator and fan and wire it up like toyota did, the resistor is behind the headlamp.

The resistor relay is controlled by the ac high pressure switch.

Kudos! Problem solved and the culprit has been caught red handed. The smaller connector on the ECU turned out to be loose. All set now!

Just to add clarity when it was loose, it still sent the right voltage but probably the fan driver won't catch the "weak" signal. Tightened up the ECM side connector and it started to behave right away.

This is my second experience that I got a problem that was related to loose connection on the ECM. The other day the purge sensor wasn't working and that also turned out to be loose connection from the ECM. So guys please be aware of loose connections.

Bro, it's the connector on the ECM..there are 2 and you're looking at the smaller one. Please let me know if you need further help.
