Yes you can, but I don't know about condition of car, engine health. It's better that you keep on using 10w40.

It's good. It is authentic. I drove my gli 2010 to 220000kms on toyota 20w50, but I would suggest that you should use toyota 5w50 taglon instead.
Above shared shell 10w40 is better then toyota oils at least.

I have XLI 2010. Previously it was giving a maximum of 13km/l on motorway. Some days ago, I went to a mechanic and complained about fuel average. He told me to change the oxygen sensor. So I replaced it, more over, he cleaned the fuel pump, plugs etc. Now, al Hamdo Lillah, it gave me 16.8 on motorway with AC.
