Never use detergent for washing a vehicle. Meguires shampoo is the best available in the market.
Also, you can find a mitt or a mitt glove (microfiber) to do the washing. If you cannot find the glove, microfiber cloth is enough.

i use plain water (quite often), and when I have time then car shampoo and sometimes my hair shampoo(lol)

I have the glove! yayy! Bought it from Iraq in 2011 for cleaning my room! lol

It's you personal decision, since I drive automatics, I cannot even think about a manual tranny.
Apart from that general full option has got:

1) folding side mirrors
2) fog lights
3) sunroof / moonroof
4) climate control A/C
5) original light tinted windows
6) metallic colour
7) leather seats (optional)
8) Alloy rims
9) chromated back view mirror(anti reflective)
10) Power seats (optional)
11) Auto rain operative wipers..and so on...

I ve always used Maguire synthetic wax cuz in dusty Pakistani environment my Red wine Altus does not catch dust as much as carnuba wax does. Moreover it gives lots of depth to red wine color.

its ok. most people think here that i am a male. gender has nothing to do with this...

i already own a 1000 cc automatic vitz. i am not so happy with its perfomance on heights, though i have driven it to abottabad but i never took it to pir sohawa or nathia gali because i under estimate the power of my car... However during my daily routine, or on M1 and M2 , i am happy with the pick and performance of my car.

i just need a powerful car like my XLI 2004 ( which i replaced back in 2010 with vitz) which would accelerate the way my foot would command it to!

Going for Gli this time because of power windows and ABS of course!

8) Alloy rims..............................................i'm a fan of spinners with 17" tyres but i'm afraid that they suit more to mercs, BMWs &Audis...

9) chromated back view mirror(anti reflective) .............won't my basic car have that lever which will adjust it to night mode? if not, then i'd be badly needing it!!!!!!!!!!

Your right. With manual transmission you can play with the engine rpm. Best for climbing up hills..

Gatorade is for Replenishing salts lost owing to sweating, not An energy Drink.

I have the same color issues!! I have booked a GLi Auto which is promised to be delivered in early December. My booked color is medium silver though I prefer white (this color looks fabulous in this model of Corolla) and Metallic Grey (which I like ). I would certainty change color option shortly. But as I look around other colors looks more appealing too. Red wine to me is most appealing in this model but requires a lot of maintenance. Medium Silver and White requires least maintenance. io I would try to get white or Gun Metallic.
