I had the same problem with my corolla but after 445000Kms. Its too early for you.
Mine was steering cross problem. it was worn out. problem solved under Rs.1000.
Rs 300 for labour and Rs 600 for kabuli cross. KHARADI can repair it too in 300-400.

Exactly same issue i'm facing in my passo 2013. Showed them to many mechanics including squad one and they say everything is fine. Odo is only 15k km

Get your steering column checked from a person who is expert in steering issues...usually cross get damaged..but usually after 200000km ..not at 15k

Sir as i already mentioned i even got it checked from squad one which is a newly opened state of the art workshop in dha phase 8. You can check its fb page you'll get to know how professional they are with their work. I myself am eye witness of their work as i got 2 panels of my car repainted to perfection from there. But tbh i was disappointed when they weren't able to find out the issue. Before this, i also got it checked from my own mechanic where all my cars have been going for years but he also wasn't able to detect the issue

AoA brothers i own a Altis 1.6 2018 Model my car is only 12k driven and i am hearing clunks noise on bumps got the alignment done wheel balancing done and brake service may be brake callipers are loose but still no luck,

My steering gives a loose feeling while driving straight and hear clunks in every bump..Will get it checked am of the view that the steering rack is the problem...i have a shimmy and wobbly feel beyond speeds of 80km/h...at 100 feel like cars body is wobbling.

I was facing the same issue. Got the steering cross changed and the issue was resolved.

Steering cross can give issues even at 10,000kms.
You just need a big pothole and a good speed to shake car completely.

Check the linkage bolt.i have had the same issue and that vanished after tightening the linkage bolts

Did anyone find the solution to the problem? I am experiencing the same issue with my 2010 xli. Ot is especially audible when i am driving on tough tiles or uneven road.

I have talked to at least 3 mechanics and all of them jave told me its steering bush problem and i should replace those by kharadia.

Anyone find a conclusion to this problem on pakwhes?

Those mechanics are probably right. It will cost you roughly 4k to get it fixed from a mechanic, as per my knowledge. If you leave it as it is, the steering will start having a little 'play' and might even ruin your car's tyres. It will also be dangerous on highways speeds. I will advise you to get it fixed.

Thanks for the advise, Umair. I have been meaning to get it fixed. I have gotten the lowest price of 5000 for it. 2500 for bushes and 2500 for labor. But i am not sure about mechanics. Do you know of any trusted mechanics you recommend in Pindi/ISB?

I had the same issue on my 10". It's not just the mechanics you want to be sure of, but the Kharadea. Since your front assembly will be... unassembled. I'd replace all the bushings a-z even the ones in good condition. I'm just saying, it's a good opportunity to get em all replaced.
But what the hell do I know!?

Well, sure that sounds like a good idea. Cause I really hate this noise and its increasing. But again, how much would the total cost of roughly? Budget is a little tight
