The liqui moly cat converter cannot repair a melted cat which happens when you drive with a dead misfire.
I agree. It can only clear the residues created by using high mmt fuel. Sadly, every other fuel company is using high quantity of mmt in Pakistan.
Italian tune up is best to clean the cat. Go on adrenaline rush drive on motorway. Keep driving consistent at 120 or 130 Km per hour for couple of hours. Push the car on ascends and maintain the speed limit. Do it once in a while and your cat will never get clogged.
This is very true,
Too bad that everyone wants to hypermile in Pakistan now and post 100 km/lit mileages.
Ok. And how about I keep the car in P and keep the engine revving for that duration? Will that work? I'm not in Punjab, no ring roads etc so it's not practical here for the Italian tune up
It wont
The engine needs to be put under load
Hello @krafiq, how are those used coils going? Did the dealership provide any warranty with the used coils? And what dealership in Karachi did you buy them from because I just called Toyota Central at Awami Markaz and they said they don't sell used parts. ? A fellow e140 owner
Coils are going fine. Alhamdullilah. Toyota southern motors korangi arranged the coils for me. I was grateful to them for their help. Done almost 18k kilometers so far. I think they offered checking warranty of a week or two
