If they have so many bookings, why is it available in November? I have booked 1.6 in May and still delivery is awaited in Oct.. I do not think Indus is going to fulfill its promise of November.

Also, I checked the pricing of 1.8 CVT model, it was 25k less than this 1.6 SE, now it looks like Indus has played a great game.... they took 1.8 CVT degraded it to 1.6, replaced CVT with 4 speed. then removed Fog lights, cruise control, retractible mirrors, leather interior, Android panel with SIM, chrome interior handles, chrome inserts....

added sunroof, climate control & push start ...priced these 3 items 3.5 lacs and released this version.

In Lahore no dealership is taking booking unless you have contacts in dealership or you are ready to share on/own

Indus website is showing every dealership in lahore has it for SEP delivery. looks like it wasnt really a big hit with 1.6 customer? maybe affording people go fo grande and 1.6 people are already stretched thin coming from city/yaris

hmm seems unlikely, isme kafi chezain miss hain jo customer mangta ha.. CVT , fog light, retract mirror.... cruise control. kch b nahi.. jo city ma mljata ha new shape ma aur much lesser price. dosra comparison, BRV ma ye sb chezain already arhi hain with 7 seats.....phir civic ka basic variant same isi price ma ha 38 on road.....

I agree you, this model is 3.5 lakh expensive than Ordinary Altis 1.6 and 2.7 Lakh cheaper than Grande,
Delivery time of SE is November, Grande is December and Simple Altis is Feb 2022.

of course people who need Altis urgently, this model is ideal for them but for a layman like most of us, Grande is best because it has a lot of things which justify this 2.7 Lakhs price difference but Altis 1.6SE , extra things does not justify 3.5 Lakhs difference than simple Altis 1.6 AT.

But still it will be sold like Hot Cakes.

actually i checked from their website
https://www.toyota-indus.com/vehicle-availability/
- till 2 days ago it was showing dec 2021 and right now showing Jan 2022.

It may be possible that situation in person with dealership is different because website is showing Special edition Sep deliveries which seems unbelieveable.

not for layman, grande is definitely better value for money. in additional 2.7 lacs you get bigger engine 7 speed CVT, leather interior, fog light retract mirror, sports mode, front cam, better Android unit, interior chrome handles and inserts.....grande is a no brainer in this case! my grande gives 17kpl in city.... this 4 speed auto will give 8-10kpl

Saw an insta story of Tahir Abbas, there he said that new Altis 1.6 SE is only available if you give like 150k extra in the form of ON or commission, a regular person who books a car and gets a timeline for delivery cannot buy it for now apparently.

contrary to that, SE will be delivered in Dec. no own yet. there is a huge ON money on 1.6 hardtop. delivery in march22. Indus is looking for max orders for SE they have decided to deliver this before january. now why is this? pakwheels has rumoured about new shape corolla in Jan-Feb, which seems too soon. however, pakwheels was accurate about the launch of SE. Even before indus officialy decided on specs with dealers.. pakwheels had it all up on social media.
I do not know what would happen to old 11 gen orders when this new shape gets launched.
