Rats paa g, its not allowed to use full-automatic transmission in formula one cars, yes they do have semi automatic transmission with regulations stating a maximum of seven forward gears and one reverse gear, and also the driver uses padel to shift between gears which is mounted on back of steering wheel. if one drives too many city kms, then auto is ok but remember with auto you have to service it every 30,000kms, this involves filter and oil change.
with manual I would love to see car in sixth gear which you do get in new corolla but this also depends if you drive it on motorway or not. and when power is needed you can take the car up to 90 kms in second gear. depends on car also.
which ever you buy choice is yours, but remember roads are there to share not to race and safe driver not only respects others on the road but themself and their famlies.....
