well i read almost whole thread well i had the same indus JDM, with sunrooof in golden colour 1.6 Special Edition Japan assembled with SRS,i sold it out in 8 lacs in petrol
those who are saying that Indus's shaped ended internationally after 1996 are totally wrong,first thing is if they had finished so why was our local toyota kept on manufacturing same shape till 2002 starting,were'nt they authorized dealers of toyota?2ndly there were 2 shaped produced in 1998 one was of Indus and the other was a little changed to it with just little similarity,2ndly i am its prooof that indus shape 1.6 GLi auto did come till 1998 and i was its owner till 4 years...dont have car's pic else i would have posted here
2ndly now this car well as far as i observe this car is Pakistan ASsembled,someone cheated to Mr.Afridi, because Japnese Indus came with 180km/hr speedometer,2ndly did'nt come with Wooden interior which i had,it was Blackish grey,strange sort of colour,and the bumpers are changed or repainted in similarity of 1995 manufactured indus just to give view that its japnese which it is not,
Only Pakistani Indus came with wooden interior as far as my little knowledge is concern although stuff 90% used of japan in Local indus as well but its manufactured in Pakistan and my indus seats were four way adjustable and with automatic transmission
