Corolla 1.3 is not at all underpowered car. Japanese pagal nahi. they spend billions on R&D.

my parents have 1.5 aspire prosmatec. its a pretty uncomfortable car as compared to corolla.

we use city inside islamabad and still its uncomfortable as there are tonnes of rotten roads and potholes in actual islamabad.

i would say "'Ankhien band ker kay"' Corolla le lien.

Fuel consumption would be almost similar local usage.

Bro, only IMC giving 1.3 engine in Corolla. Japanaio ko keun badman kar rahay ho

@ts go for GLI

2012 gli ..average 13 in city without ac .. with normal n aggressive driving

Getting 12 km/l frm 2015 and 2016 gli in city with ac with v light foot driving. On hard foot it goes down to 11 or may be 10 not sure ....
On highway it goes to 16 with in 120km/hr limits
Gli auto of my frnds giving around 9-10 km/l in city and 15km/l on highways ....

have manual gli 2011 giving me around 13km/l in lahore. i have driven both and would suggest you to get the corolla.

I own city and have driven new corolla as well. Let me share u my experience.
Honda city suspension is hard. Even in isb i felt a small khada to be a big one :). But handling of honda is much good then corolla Gli.
I got manual city and average is 15 in local and 17+ on long routes. Braking system of city is good as comp to gli. May be due to size. Interior of gli is new generation where as city is one generation old.
Most of all city will be replaced my new model probably next year where as gli shape will remain same for next 2 to 3 years (except face lift).
I personally like gli but just due to the fear of theft i m not buying it theft rate in isb for xli gli is v v much high

3.4k. Its with 2 adult 2 kids and trunk with almost 30kg. Never drove alone above 100kmph :p. I usually drive slow.

There is no match in comfortable drive b/w Gli & City.

The only edge City has probably is the fuel average.

these all have direct relation with LOAD on engine. its same like ur running on a road with/Without bag on ur shoulder. same goes for airfilter as its direct air intake like u inhale heavily while running and less when ur walking.
