So latest updates are the front lefts axel was making sound..
Toyota Garden motors were totally clueless about what it is coming from..
Little bit searching and consulting with Pakwheels friends it was established that the sound could be of cv joint, boot, axel.
Called Toyota for a quote of these parts so turns out Toyota does not sell these parts separately, it will sell front complete setup cv joints outer inner axle and it's a pair for 145,000 and they did not have it in stock, they will import on order.
Since I had to visit Islamabad the very next day it was decided to consult a local mechanic and replace the part which needed to be replaced.
Upon inspection it was discovered that the outer cv joints boot was torn and hence ending up replacing only that.
The aftermath of the whole process is that the dub dub sound has disappeared but there is little vibration and steering is a bit hard when turning towards left. The cv joint was of 1500cc model and I have no idea if 1300cc exist or the OEM part was 1300cc or 1500cc
I am not satisfied with the results and now the question is what should be done?
Options are live with it for the timebeing or replace it again with aftermarket parts both left cv joints and axle or go for Toyota way and cough up 145k
