Corolla SE Saloon 2004 CNG Mileage

Recently bought a 2004 se saloon auto which has a 60kg cylinder and lendirenzo kit, but it's giving me max 73kms per refill (in city and on AC) , any advice (I live in karachi).

why u want to run auto car on cng bro? whats the mileage of your car ? did u try running on petrol?

On petrol it gives 7.5 l/km and my car's odometer shows it has done 160k kms, and most people driving se saloon have said that they get about 100 kms per cylinder..

yes it should give you 90 to 110kms per cylinder. my saloon on light foot with ac in city gives 8.5kms. ap ki gari ki mileage according to your ODO meter zada tou nahi hai. i guess your car needs proper maintenance brother. Engine oil and grade keya use karte ho ap ?

20w 50, and recently oil is changed spark plugs air filter changed, or 4-5 mechanics & cng specialist ko dikha dee unse nhi hop arahi average theek, or ap karachi mai hain? Auto hai se saloon apki? Or andazan kitnay mai full hoti hai cng?

i use 10w40 meri odo meter 150k hai almost and its stock petrol. cng start se lai he nahi meri gari me neither i wanted cng in my car. zada tar yehe sun ahai k auto gari me cng successful nahi.

spark plugs kon sey lagae abi ap ney. 160 mileage k lia iguess 20w50 boht heavy hai. but ur car is on cng and mostly log 20w50 he dekha cng me dalwate hai.

you need to check no. of kgs per fill.
The cylinder may need cleaning & testing, you can get it done from energy zone contact Hilal
Location is new m.a.jinnah road in city ward direction from university road cross the jail overpass, after ramp on left is PSO pump, after that several cng kit shops the shop of hilal is next to masjid gate.

very recently they fixed a 2005 auto corolla now the cylinder takes 8+ kgs and avg is 100 km per fill. They provide Hydrocarbon Centre certificate of cylinder testing as well.

10W-40 from reliable oil brand is all season engine oil

My cng kit was installed from there energy zone in both civic and corolla 2003 se saloon auto aroud 7 8 years ago. And now I went there again and he serviced throttle body but still 75 km with 8 kg of cng with ac on. The kit is landi renzo. Also my civic 2000 is also giving 70km and I have visited him 2 3 times but economy is not increasing.

I have also bad fuel average recently checked it and gave me about 5.3 kms/l, he recommended to first fix petrol average than tune cng, so any recommended petrol tuner..?

in order to ascertain exact reason of bad fuel economy, i recommend:

1. compression test ( wet & dry ) the difference shall be in reasonable range of 10 -20 psi variation
2. check for tappet settings
3. check for ignition coils
4. the manual 2004 corolla high milage 80,000+ engine petrol avg shall be under 10km/liter with ac in city.
   -

if the engine compression test results are above 160 psi engine is healthy.

get tappets adjusted ( shims are required for that ) if out of specs
ignition coils if leaky shall be replaced

once the petrol average is better then switch to CNG and test again.

Going for the brake service of se saloon auto tomorrow early morning InshaALLAH, after approx 1.5 years. Any suggestions or guide to take care of while doing brakes work? I also experienced car going on left side over 60km/hr speed. Should i go for alignment as well ? And also at 60km/hr speed emergency brake is not that effective. and move to left side and only left tire skits.
