I've a GLI 2010 model and i had been suffering from the same “AC's-less-cooling” issue. Like on high RPM it was working good but not when the car slowed down.

So, i went to a professional AC technician, he checked every single pipes and everything related to the cooling system of my car. Then he advised me to change the cooling coil of the car. He installed a 'Japanese made' cooling coil of vitz 2006-7 model (which works better under the low RPMs too)

Believe me it's more than a year since I've been using it and the AC is working superbly, like “Chilled”

i have xli 2010 which is giving me 11 to 12km/l on long route with light foot. i bought it and the dealer told me that owner was using Havoline 30W50. when i bought it its fuel average was very good about 16 to 17km/l. once i changed the oil Havoline 30W50, fuel average drops to 12km/l. my car is 300k driven. can i use 10W 30 on 300k driven engine ?

My Xli gives me 13.8 in local and 16.8 in long rout travel..
It's engine is newer one but it's wiring and ecu are older.
Newer engine is vvti..so it's not connected with the ecu..as the ecu is older 2006 corolla..
If I install newer corolla ecu and wiring then will it's average be improved then the preset values or not? Any suggestions about that?
