It is on the rise. Govt is trying to hide the stats as before due to economic reasons. But we need to show seriousness in this regard.
I have been sincerely requesting my acquaintances to avoid sarcasm and discussions of conspiracies. Two persons close to me in the friends and families circle have recently passed away, and faced misery before death. A friend's brother (43 years old) was administered everything from Actemra to Remdisivir but couldn't survive after staying on ventilator for nine odd days. Two Actemra injections (whose price fixed by the govt as Rs. 120,000/-) cost the family close to 1 million rupees, but to no avail. His only symptom from diagnosis till death was 'extreme difficulty in breathing', rest he was absolutely fine.
As of today, a number of people in my office are infected. Whole family of my boss is among those. Situation is very bleak. Please don't go out unnecessarily, avoid gatherings and meet ups as much as possible. Take all necessary precautions, please.
