Not possible as the weight of vehicle increases drastically that 1.3 l cannot pull it. It require min 2.0 liter or above engine.

Actually i saw a program on tv in which the local bullet proof converter is giving interview... What he said i express here.. According to him large engines can tug out the bullet proof car easily.. Moreover corollas with stock engine may be partially bullet proof that u saw. In partial they put a laminated glass on glasses and do cavlour coating inside doors, they never put heavy metals in panels. Such car can only stops pistols bullet for one time.

ur right..but the weight comes from the b pillers ..floor bulkhead ..roof piller side of the windscreen all the whole shell is cut and welded..glass is over 2 inches thick..for a flush fit every thing has to be cut..on some cars they change the springs..move the ecus hide wiring change the exhaust..theres loads of stuff u dont see.. and there horrible to drive ..all depends on level of protection required

btw - when proper bulletproof MB are made they are mostly the big CDI engines or the AMG biturbo engines, The suspension is extreme duty - no springs in it, it uses SLS to keep it level.
