Buying a used car is an art.
Its same for JDM or a locally used car.

If you keep your eyes open, you wont get a shock.
Always go for the expert advice while buying a used car.

What about local cars? Are PKDMs cars junked after accident? Or these are disassembled and their parts are sold?

It is not the JDM / PKDM, it is the bay-emaan pakistani muslims who are doing this. People here even are in the business of buying accidented cars from insurance companies and selling after restoration. Dont the dealers sell cars used in rent a car after reversing meters?

We have honest people as well, like sharabhi.

So buy the car after getting it checked, its ur hard earned money, you should not waste it on buying any junk, be it local or imported.

Agree. But atleast we dont have to worry about such frauds when buying a new PKDM.

i have had an awesome experience with quite a few JDM vehicles. Well if you plan to throw out money on ANY used car without doing a simple car history check, greater chances are that you will get a piece of junk! May be true for JDM but is also the same for a Pak used car!
I can show you tons of pictures of local paki rollas, suzukis and hondas getting fixed like new from major accidents. And then sell off bumper to bumper guarantee!
At the end of the day, JDM quality is simply much more superior compared to PKDM in almost every possible way. And JDM has much more variety than just xli, civic and swift.

so why does everyone cry about the "jenyan paint" situation in Pakistan. These orphan cars imported from Japan are past their useable life there, what you get is the worn out tired repaired car that you are thinking is "OH MY GOD --- JAY DEE EMM"

We had an altis 1.8, sold in 2010, we bought it zero meter, the buyer said it is repaired from left fender and door, we said no we own this since it came out and it was neither accidented nor we got it repaired. Finally, after long long discussion, it revealed that the car was repaired before delivery.

Further, 99% brand new cars get dents in their first week of rukhsati. Gari chalay gi to lagay gi. We only in pakistan have bukhaar of buying bumper to bumper gen-yun car; and we keep driving dented / without paint cars to keep it in gen-yun condition. There is no harm if the car is neatly reapired. Just car should be mechanically fit. The reason for buying jdm is the features which are not available in pkdm. A person buying zero meter mehran should buy mira instead.

We being muslims have more responsibility to be honest and trustworthy in our dealings, as we have hidayat while goras are bay deen people. Here we are involved in playing lives of innocent children by selling fake medicines, so selling accidented repaired cars is not a big deal. In our day to day dealing i have observed that a person pretending to be very religious, is turned out to be most corrupt person.

They have not passed there usable life, in Japan the resale of these vehicles is too low. With companies offering cars on installments and with perfect competitions, these cars fetch much more price when sold like this.

A used parado would be sold through bidding at a price just a little shy of new parado, latest model where as in Japan it won't even go for half of the price.

Japanese people are also very honest and they properly grade reach car... but our people have lost third ethics.

What would say about the famous case when pak Suzuki was sued after an accident when roof cloth teared and the metal sheet said dalda dalda dalda
I heared that don't know if its true but anything can happen in! Pakistan
Another true story which is confirmed is: amongst the v.first lot of pkdm swifts, a truck driver managed to damage all the cars standing on its top rack... those were repaired in a substandard workshop and sold.
