Im just trying to make sure that ground clearance remains enough that i dont have to cross speed bumps and breakers like a psycho. Also the stock size kyb shocks will lower down front side by atleast 3 inches.
Right now fender and tyre would have space of 4 fingers and after the stock shocks update the mechanic said it would be only 1 inch or 1 finger max. Lol iam going crazyy

Hello,
you can always check the OEM suggested ride height, the workshop manual should mention that,
if your car is in that range,
you don't need to change anything.

IF you do decide to raise the height, either by inserting rubber bushing, or changing the suspension,
please ensure that you maintain the ratio of front and rear height, and also understand that
doing such an operation will set you back in terms of safety and stability.

I think you need to change your car, raising a lux model toyota crown for speed breaker clearance is a fools exercise. You will have a permanent problem with suspension parts, literally a forever problem that you will need to tend to every month.

You can choose to buy the older taxi built version (taller roofline and higher suspension) some were imported as used auction etc cars. it has HD suspension from the factory too. (Almost all were baby blue or lime green)

Thanks for the insight. I love toyota crown 2004 model and this is the only car iam keeping. Decided to stay with stock parts.search is on going will update you with what comes next.

LOL i would never change my crown i dont think so your a big fan or crown.i think this is the best car ever built and will continue to use it as long as iam alive.

I know crowns are great cars, but when you mention raising it to clear speed bumps, thats where the “greatness” of them ends. The car will drive like a bowl of mashed potatoes after that.

Btw, you should see and experience a toyota century if you want to experience the greatest car toyota ever made.

Can you please assist me what is the location of this sensor ? Or suggest me a reliable and honest electrician who can help clear this. Because of this error car is wobbling really slowly on P and N. Kindly help !

Get the mechanic to test the cam sensor itself first and its wiring.

Not hy “badli karo aur check” by check I mean check the output of it.

sir @rajaatta can help. However with a CROWN you need to have deep pockets,. New parts for any crown are absent in markets across Pakistan. People have to rely on local or UAE scrapyards.
