can i use this oil for my cultus efi 2011 51500 kms done, the city temp in summer goes upto 45-48 C and in winter it gets to 10 C to 30 C???

Suzuki 5s dealer mechanic told me to bring this oil, my cultus has done 51500 kms, so which oil should i use of ZIC i mean the viscosity and should i change the oil now?

they are as knowledgeable as mechanic on road side then, I'm glad they didn't ask you to pour 20w50
Optimal viscosity for Cultus = 10w40 or even less
Optimal API grade for Cultus = API SG/SJ
Zic cannot serve both sadly.

However SGO Premium is very good and fall into both standards mentioned above
Kixx Gold SJ is also a fine oil which fall in it

I have seen mostly people using ZIC oils so i want to use that too, please suggest me any oil from that with right viscosity, here in my city the tempurture goes upto 45-48 C in summer and in winter it gets to 10 C to 30 C

you are right that mostly ppl use Zic but as told by mr rameez Suzuki geniun oil is more good then zic, we are using in our office pool more than 7 car i.e swift apv etc cultus its best for suzuki cars.
Specially for suzuki i recomend you to use only its geniun parts and oil . you will see the difference.

Dont fall for such gimmicks. Yes it can be poured on vehicles requiring api sg sj but not in Cultus
Cultus tappet are made this way that they require higher amount of zddp (1500ppm) as in sg sl. It was reduced to 1200ppm in sl and further 800ppm in sn because most engines work fine with low amount and as you said other protections are provided in newer oils.
Those protecting chemicals cannot be a substitute to zddp for engines like in Cultus both carby and efi.

Suzuki SGO oil is running fine in my car, i thought to update this so that someone who reads it may find this helpful in the future, i used Suzuki Genuine Oil 10w40 Premium, it cost me 1600 for 4 Ltrs. i bought it from 3s Suzuki workshop.
