Change the plug wires if you haven't yet. The major symptoms of weak wires are jerks on steady acceleration, loss of acceleration and engine takes time to start. Get the injectors cleaned. Dirty injectors can cause troubles. Take your car to a good electrician and ask him to check its wiring. If after doing everything, you are still not able to achieve the desired results, admit it then that your car engine has gone weak.

yes ask ur mechanic to check the plug wire with a multi meter! if the reading are correct the plug wires are not faulty!

One issue happened with my car was that the Distributor itself was not working properly! my mechanic said it was not not creating some vaccum which he checked by suck air through the distributors vaccum pipe! after the distributor was changed the problem was solved!

and get urself some 3 Point plugs for better performance and mileage
