AoA, Dear Brother,
I was reading quite a number of posts from you regarding Cultus Carby, which sounds the professionalism & knowledge at your end.
Please can you let me know the optimum settings for Carburetor, which I have planned to service myself after really tired of mechanics. I drive car on petrol. Car is fitted with CNG, I have driven on CNG is the past, occasionally.
I have fully overhauled engine just 2000km driven since. Following replaced with new during overhaul:
- Carb Butterfly
- Oil pump
- Fuel pump
- Piston set, rings
- Full head service
- Clutch plate
- Denso radiator (5 blade fan)
- & So on
** Fan is direct not automatic. I have now bought Therostat valve to install, and wire the fan to auto.
Here what my Cultus is doing to me now:
- Start up problems
- Jerks badly
- RPM unstable
- Black smoke (dry carbon)
- I see oil in air cleaner
- very bad car sound
Please please help me to sort out problems. Also advise me if this relates to timing problems.
