helo friends , here i will show you how to remove cultus engine , well there may be many ways to do that , some guys use jigs and chain pully , remove the bonnet and pull the engine upward , some remove gear with out removing the engine block , and some remove engine while gear is still in there , all is posible ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but here i am using a simple and easy way through which you can remove the cultus engine without even having a helping hand ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yes you can remove cultus engine all alone , its really very very simple,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,100 times more simple and easy than that of mehran,,,,,just need to remove the electrical connection , water hoses and few more thing (i mention all step by step in this post) and then remove just 5 bolts and engine will be down to earth ,,,,,,,,i am sure you can easily remove cultus engine after watching all these pic ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to me its takes nearlly 40 min to remove the engine all alone , and if i wont waste any time in taking the pic and if i had a helping hand than i can complete all that job within 15 min ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,keep few things in mind ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,its not necessary to remove engine along with the gear box if you only have to repair the gear box or change clutch plate/pressure plate ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,its posible that engine can sit in while you remove the gear only,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and same is with the engine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,gear sit in and remove the engine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i tell you from my experence that it many times more difficult than removing the entire engine,,,,,,,,,,,,,i mean removing just gear while engine is still in or removing just engine while gear is still in ,,,,,,,,its a much difficult job,,,,,,,,,,,,,,here i remove both and then split gear and box,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one more thing,,,,,,,,,,,if you can lift the car much higher than no need to split the gear and engine ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lift it atleast 4 feet and pull the engine/gear out,,,,,,,,,,,i cant lift it much higher so i split both of them and pull them in horizental position,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,another thing which you havent seen in this post is the AC compressor and condenser,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well these 2 things are not yet installed in my car,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you no need to discharge the AC gas ,,,,,,,,,,simply remove the compressor from its mountain and hang with a car body through a steel wire , , cover the condenser with some card bord from the opposite side so that compressor wont damage it,,,,,,i hope you got my point,,,,,,,,,,,
